Using eco-friendly coconut fibres with increased absorption capacity, the system effectively removes up to 95% of:

Chlorine, salts, heavy metals, chloramines, nitrates, nitrites. Sediment; dirt, rust, oxidation. Herbicides, pesticides, volatile organic contaminants (VOCs - chemical contaminants, benzenes, toluene, oils, THMs, detergents and PCBs).

For systems that are using beneficial bacteria and micro-organisms chlorine should be avoided - these filters make sure that all of the water you deliver to your root zone is not going to cause any problems.

The filters on the Pro Grow 2000 last for around 56,000 litres or 6 months. We list the replacements in the dropdown above, along with a replacement membrane - this will need changing approx. every 9 months.
