This sculpture is a version of the original ‘racing mako’ and captures the racing-look of the fastest shark in our oceans.
Selected parts and materials used in this sculpture are from modern Grand Prix cars as listed below.
Sculpture limited to 40 pieces.
Body: Carbon fibre 2 x 2 twill 200 gsm coated with UV resistant clear coating and painted detail.
Dorsal and underside fins: 0.5 mm photo etched stainless steel coated blue.
Tail and pectoral fins: 0.5 mm photo etched stainless steel coated blue.
Marking detail: Custom designed 2025 RedBull Racing vinyl transfer.
Teeth: Printed chrome on black decal.
Mounting base and rod: Mounted on a black coated wooden base with blue Pirelli tyre ID logo and titanium drive pegs with inconel stainless steel reversion cone from a modern Formula One GP car.
Mounting method: Desk mounted.
Dimensions: L 290 mm 130 mm on base 240 mm on base.
