Vineyards: This is our 13th vintage of Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. Our 2024 version is a blend of two vineyards in the heart of this world-renowned Pinot Noir appellation. The vineyards are: Baer Vineyard (50%) and Bacigalupi (50%). The sites are located less than a mile from one another and are bordered by Westside Road to their west and the Russian River to their east. This prime location lends itself to the classic Russian River Valley profile of red fruits, sweet baking spices and silky textures. The clonal makeup of the final blend includes Pommard, Wente selection, 115, 667 and 2A.

Vintage: The 2024 vintage was a return to form in Sonoma County after the historically cool 2023 vintage. A wet winter was followed by a cool spring that set up the vines nicely for the growing season. A warm summer kicked things into gear and a mild harvest without rain made for ideal ripening conditions and high quality. Our vineyards for our Russian River Valley Pinot Noir are located in the Middle Reach neighborhood of the AVA and were harvested starting in the last week of August and finishing up in mid-September.

Winemaking

• The wine aged in French oak barrels (45% new) for 10 months
• 285 cases were bottled unfined and unfiltered on July 21, 2025
• Alcohol: 14.5%, pH: 3.61, T.A. 5.5 g/L

Tasting Notes: Our 2024 version of this wine highlights the fruit intensity found in Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. The wine is profoundly aromatic, with notes of red cherry, Santa Rosa plum and baking spice that hint at the lively interplay of fruit and spice on the palate. The silky texture opens up to classic Russian River Valley Pinot Noir flavors of raspberry preserves, cranberry and notes of cinnamon and clove spice.
