Light: This plant will thrive in bright indirect light, however can tolerate lower light conditions. If it does not have sufficient light, the leaves will become less variegated.
Water: If the top 2 inches of the soil is dry, water thoroughly and allow the soil to dry out between waterings. It will need more frequent watering in the warmer months.
