Their vineyards are farmed organically and to explain the name of their winery they sit on the Via Augustus, a Roman route connecting Venice to the plains beyond the Brenner pass, and which was completed under the rule of Emperor Claudius Augustus in 47 AD. These are Prosecco wines made in traditional fashions, including the tappo spago cork closure, a symbol of their desire to move forward while never forgetting their heritage.
Appearance: A straw yellow in colour with hints of green.
Nose: Fruity green apple and white flowers.
Palate: Dry and velvety, fresh, vibrant and fruity, full-bodied, excellent acidity and long-lasting flavour.
About the wine: Millesimato simple means from a single vintage (at least 85% of the Glera grapes have to be from the same harvest). Organic grapes are used for this Prosecco where all production methods are all vegan.
