The Green Lipped Mussel possesses a profile of Omega-3 essential fatty acids which is unique . No other marine or vegetable sources contain anything like as much beneficial Omega 3 oils. Most sources of Poly-unsaturated fatty acids (eg fish oils, flax oil etc) are a mixture of Omega 3 and Omega 6 oils. The balance between the amount of Omega 3 and 6 consumed is vital because Omega 6 oils can increase inflammation. Our Flex Green Lipped Mussel extract is rich in Omega 3 oils providing up to 200 times as much per milligram as fish and vegetable oils.
