Performance without the power tools.

The Roo Racing HKS SSQV Blow Off Valve Adapter is the definitive solution for Subaru owners who want that iconic atmospheric sound without the headache of custom fabrication.

Designed specifically for the Subaru WRX (2002–2007) and STi (2004–2014), this adapter bridges the gap between your factory Top Mount Intercooler (TMIC) and the HKS SSQV series blow off valve. No welding, no cutting, and zero permanent modifications to your engine bay.

This isn’t just a mounting bracket; it’s a precision-engineered component that ensures a leak-free seal, allowing your HKS BOV to perform exactly as intended while maintaining the structural integrity of your charge system.

Use it to:

  • Upgrade instantly: Move from the recirculating factory BPV to an HKS SSQV in minutes.

  • Maintain OEM cleanliness: Keep your engine bay looking professional with a direct-fit aesthetic.

  • Ensure reliability: Eliminate the risk of boost leaks common with "universal" plastic adapters.

Why the Roo Racing Adapter?

  • True Direct Fitment: Engineered to bolt directly to the factory Subaru TMIC flange.

  • Zero-Mod Installation: If you can turn a wrench, you can install this. No welding or drilling required.

  • Built for Boost: CNC machined from 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum to withstand high-pressure environments without warping.

  • Australian Tested: Designed to handle the heat and vibration of spirited street and track use.

Product Highlights

  • CNC Machined 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum: Lightweight, durable, and corrosion-resistant.

  • 30-Minute Install: Go from stock to "whoosh" in less time than it takes to wash your car.

  • Compatible Applications:
    Subaru WRX (GD/GG Chassis) | 2002–2007
Subaru WRX STI (GDF, GR/GV, VA Chassis) 2005-2021

  • Limited Lifetime Warranty: We stand by our machining. If it fails, we replace it.

Complete Your Setup

Need the Valve too? Add the Genuine HKS Super SQV4 for an additional $340.

Don't hunt for parts elsewhere—get the full solution in one box. The HKS Super SQV4 has been the gold standard for sport compacts for over 20 years. Unlike traditional "push-type" valves that require constant spring adjustments to prevent leaking, the HKS uses a pull-type sequential valve structure.

The harder you push the boost, the tighter the valve seals.

The HKS Advantage:

Dual Valve Sequential System: A primary valve handles low-boost response, while the secondary valve opens for maximum discharge under high boost.

Zero Leakage: Pressure in the chamber actually holds the valve shut during acceleration, ensuring you hit your target boost every time.

The Iconic Chirp: Get the signature HKS sound that has defined the Subaru tuning scene for decades.

Stop overcomplicating your build. Bolt on, plug in, and get back to the drive.

🏁 Engineered for Subie owners, by Roo Racing.

Building something wonderful out of the broken pieces
Format: Hardcover
Meg Eden Kuyatt has done it again. I am a big fan of novel in verse, and this author is one reason why. The poetry delivers character, setting, and story in a clear, believable voice. The protagonist, V, is a middle school girl full of feelings, celebrating her difference while fighting for her place in the wonderland of neurotypicals. V introduces herself in vibrant socks that say “I am strange and wonderful.” And with that, we are off. V is reluctantly spending the summer with her grandma Jojo in the pristine white house that has been in her family for generations. History is definitely living here. The house is a character itself (and a metaphor). I love that V’s cousin Cat creates assemblages, an art form I was not familiar with. Cat describes it as taking discarded, broken stuff and turning it into something beautiful (another metaphor). There is a lot going on here and a satisfying resolution brought on by a heaping dose of empathy. Highly recommend for the suggested audience (juvenile fiction, grades 3-7), their teachers, and families with neurodivergence.

Emotionally messy relationships with unreliable narrators
Format: Hardcover
Meg Eden Kuyatt guides us through a beautifully lyrical journey into the life of V, an autistic girl forced to spend the summer with her overbearing grandmother. The story is often more metaphorical than literal, which works well thematically since it revolves around emotionally messy relationships with unreliable narrators, making the details of both the past and present difficult to pin down. Overall, a great read that will be appreciated by both kids and adults looking for mature, nuanced stories about dysfunctional families and the autistic experience.

A New Favorite
Format: Hardcover
This was one of my favorite new MG horror books of the year. The story was beautifully told with a strong emotional arc and eerie touches, as well as excellent ND representation. Can't recommend it enough!

Excellent (slightly) spooky read
Format: Hardcover
Another great read by Meg Eden Kuyatt. I am not much of a scary books fan, but this one was so good. I especially loved that the main character has autism and we learn so much through how different members of her family treat her.
