Straight-up cycle support for your liver, heart, and prostate

Blackstone Labs Gear Support is a straightforward supplement for cycle and organ support. It focuses on the main spots that get hit hard during intense training or androgen use—antioxidants for the liver, help for your heart and blood vessels, and prostate support—all in clear, disclosed capsules. This isn't a stim, a pump booster, or a basic men's health pill. It's built for guys who want to keep blood pressure, oxidative stress, and overall strain in check so they can keep training strong.

The star here is N-Acetyl Cysteine at 400mg. NAC helps make cysteine, which boosts your body's glutathione—the main antioxidant inside your cells. That's key for protecting your liver and organs from oxidative damage. Studies often use 600mg or more for big antioxidant or liver effects, so 400mg is solid but on the lighter side. It works well as part of your daily routine, especially with the other ingredients, but it's not the max dose you'd go for alone.

Hawthorn flower and leaf extract at 300mg is in here for heart support, and it's a smart pick. Hawthorn's been used forever for circulation, and research looks at it for blood vessel tone, endothelial health, and easing heart workload. It's standardized to 1.8% vitexin, a key flavonoid in it. Doses in studies vary, but 300mg is a good everyday amount for heart support.

Saw Palmetto extract at 200mg targets prostate support by helping modulate pathways involved in dihydrotestosterone activity. That makes it a logical inc

BS Labs Gear Support by Blackstone Labs contains 400mg N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC), a effective dose for muscle recovery and growth.

Key Highlights

  • 400mg N-Acetyl Cysteine — NAC turns into cysteine to help your body crank out glutathione, its top internal antioxidant. That's huge for liver protection and handling oxidative stress, though 400mg is a bit light compared to the 600mg+ you see in some studies—still a good start in a support mix.
  • 300mg Hawthorn Flower & Leaf Extract — Hawthorn's a go-to for heart health, helping with blood vessel tone, circulation, and overall heart effort. At 300mg, it's a real dose that gives solid backing to the formula's heart side, not just hype.
  • 200mg Saw Palmetto Extract — Guys in the know grab saw palmetto for prostate support, especially under androgen stress. This 200mg is helpful, but it's under the classic 320mg you often hear about in prostate research.
  • 100mg Red Clover — Red clover brings isoflavones and extra antioxidants plus vascular help. It's not a huge dose, but it builds on the basics like NAC and hawthorn for better overall circulation support.
  • 75mg Celery Extract — Celery extract is great for folks watching blood pressure—it helps with vascular relaxation and fluid balance. In a support product like this, it's a practical choice over random herbs that don't really fit.
  • 75mg Grape Seed Extract — Grape seed packs proanthocyanidins for strong antioxidant power and blood vessel support. It ties together the heart-focused parts with polyphenol protection.
  • Six active ingredients, no prop blends — Everything's listed out with exact doses. In a world where support supps hide behind blends, this lets you see what's really in there.
  • Capsules with a 2-cap serving — Easy to take, no mixing powders or extra flavors. For something you use every day, this keeps things simple and helps you stick with it.

Who Is This For?

  • Bodybuilders bulking or cutting hard, eating big, and wanting real support beyond a multi. NAC, hawthorn, grape seed, and saw palmetto hit liver, heart, stress, and prostate—key for when training gets serious.
  • Seasoned lifters on prohormones or hormone stacks needing daily caps for on-cycle basics. It mixes antioxidant NAC and grape seed with BP-friendly hawthorn and celery, covering more than one area.
  • Power guys with high-volume intensity who care about heart health for long haul. Hawthorn, celery, and grape seed make it useful for feeling good in and out of sessions.
  • Dudes over 30 training heavy and wanting prostate help with their supps. Saw palmetto fits, plus the heart and antioxidant extras make it more than just prostate-focused.
  • Folks with solid stacks—protein, creatine, electrolytes, fish oil—adding a health layer. This protects stressed systems without stimulating.
  • Users who hate prop blends and want to see real doses like 400mg NAC and 300mg hawthorn against research.

How to Use

Take 2 capsules daily with 8-12 oz water. Best when it's routine—like with breakfast or a meal—to help with tummy comfort, especially if NAC or herbs bug you empty. No stims, so no need to ease in for tolerance, but sensitive folks can start with 1 cap a few days. Stacks well with basics like creatine, fish oil, electrolytes, protein. Check for overlaps if you're on other liver or BP supps to avoid too much NAC or similar. Use every day, even off days, for the steady benefits. Keep it cool and dry, lid tight. If on BP meds, blood thinners, or hormone stuff, talk to your doc first.

What to Expect

First 0-30 minutes: Swallow two caps with water—zero buzz, which is spot on for support supps. Next 1-6 hours: Stuff absorbs, but no quick hit since it's not for instant feels. Days 1-7: It's more about routine—you feel good knowing your stack's complete. No big changes yet, just building habits. Weeks 2-4: This is prime time—daily hits of NAC, hawthorn, grape seed, celery, and saw palmetto add up for better heart, antioxidant, and prostate backup. Think maintenance, not quick gains.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Blackstone Labs Gear Support designed to do?

Gear Support is a daily support formula built around common high-stress targets for advanced users: liver antioxidant support, cardiovascular support, and prostate support. The formula uses NAC at 400mg, hawthorn extract at 300mg, saw palmetto at 200mg, plus red clover, celery extract, and grape seed extract to create a broader support profile than liver-only products.

Is Gear Support a liver support supplement?

Partly, yes—but it is not limited to liver support. NAC at 400mg is the primary liver- and glutathione-support ingredient, but the formula also includes hawthorn, celery extract, grape seed, and saw palmetto, which push it into cardiovascular and prostate support territory as well.

How much NAC is in Blackstone Labs Gear Support?

Each 2-capsule serving provides 400mg of N-Acetyl Cysteine. That is a useful support dose, though it is below the 600mg+ range commonly seen in more aggressive standalone NAC protocols.

Does Gear Support contain a proprietary blend?

No. One of the best things about this formula is that it is fully disclosed: NAC 400mg, hawthorn extract 300mg, saw palmetto 200mg, red clover 100mg, celery extract 75mg, and grape seed extract 75mg are all listed transparently.

When should I take Gear Support?

Take 2 capsules daily, ideally with a meal and at the same time each day. Because this is not a stimulant or pre-workout product, consistency matters more than taking it right before training.

Will I feel Gear Support working right away?

Probably not, and that is normal. This formula is designed for background support over time rather than an immediate sensation, so the benefit is in consistent use over weeks, not a day-one 'kick.'

Is saw palmetto in Gear Support there for prostate support?

Yes. Saw palmetto at 200mg is included specifically because it is commonly used to support prostate health and androgen-related balance, which makes it highly relevant in this category.

Can I stack Gear Support with a pre-workout and creatine?

Yes. Gear Support is stim-free and does not overlap meaningfully with most pre-workouts, and it pairs well with creatine, protein, fish oil, and electrolytes as part of a broader serious-athlete stack.

Is Gear Support enough as a full cycle-support protocol by itself?

It is a solid base support formula, but whether it is 'enough' depends on the intensity of the user’s overall protocol. Several doses here are useful but conservative, so advanced users sometimes layer additional standalone support—especially around NAC, fish oil, or more specific liver support—based on individual needs and lab work.

Who should be cautious with Gear Support?

Anyone on blood pressure medication, blood thinners, or treatment related to hormone-sensitive conditions should check with a healthcare professional first. Hawthorn, grape seed, red clover, and saw palmetto all make this a formula worth reviewing against your medication profile.

Not a bad start

3 stars Thank you Netgalley and Briar Boleyn for the ARC! A camelot/king Arthur retelling with fae. I was hooked by the idea of this book immediately and was eager to jump into this world. • slow burn • enemies to lovers • who did this to you Morgan Pendragon watched her mother die by her father's hand when she was just eight years old, hiding under the bed. Morgan is believed to have the tainted blood of the fae in her veins and is cast aside so that her fathers illegitimate son, Arthur, can become the king. She's seen his cruel treatment of the fae firsthand, so when he sends her on a journey to find a fae weapon she seizes the opportunity to do more with her life. Along the way, she finds more than she could have imagined. I don't know a whole lot about King Arthur and Camelot but I had a lot of fun with this story! The plot has some similar tropes to popular romantasy books (From blood and ash) but there's enough originality here that it doesn't feel like I'm reading a copy. I liked how the fae were different in appearance than what is typical in most fantasy books I've read. In this book they have blue hair, violet skin and a wide range of other characteristics. I thought that the world building was easy to follow and I could easily immerse myself into this world. After reading the blurb I kept wondering when she was going to go on the journey to find Excalibur and it doesn't happen until around the 45% mark. The story is a bit slow at times but starts to pick up once they begin their journey to find Excalibur. The John Wick style Inn was a fun concept that I enjoyed reading about. There are a lot of similarities to this and FBAA and I would have liked to have it be a little more different, but I'm hoping book two will have the story turn into something of its own. Overall I enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to reading book two especially after that ending.

Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Queen of Roses (Blood of a Fae #1) by Briar Boleyn Genre General Fiction ( Adult), Romance, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Dark Romance “More primordial than the stars. My name was on his lips as he promised unspeakable darkness to any who came between us.” Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!! I’m a big fan of “touch her, and you die” vibes, but I mean, what’s also not to love about a unique Arthurian retelling with gender twists, a treacherous royal court, a dangerous quest, magical Fae & mystical monsters, entwined with a bit of spice! Morgan, Princess of Pendrath and true heir to the throne has spent most of her life dimming her light to feel safe and to make others comfortable. She is treated as an outcast in the court and repressed by her family due to the blood of the Fae within her and forced to join the Temple of the Three as a priestess in training to one day replace Merlin. Her brother, King Arthur, who reminds me of Joffrey from Game of Thrones, later tells her that he has other plans and offers her a choice of the Temple or to marry her off for political gain, unless… that is, she can journey through the great unknown and return with a long-lost fae weapon with enchanted powers known as Excalibur. Her quest begins with a roguish crew that includes the mysterious, arrogant, and heart-tuggingly handsome Captain of the Royal Guard, Kairos Draven, whom she can’t decide if she wants to stab or indulge in pleasure with. Along the way are plenty of surprises, mystical creatures, and betrayal, all while Morgan uncovers more of the truth about herself and who she can trust. This book had intriguing storylines and lovable characters that kept me turning pages and wanting more. I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds and comes together in book 2, Court of Claws, which I just started reading!! Read if you’re into- Dark Fantasy/Romance Slow–Burn Question Everything Magic and Action Fae Arthurian Legend Stabby/Broken FFC Morally Gray MMC Forced Proximity Queen of Roses is perfect for Holly Black, Jennifer L. Armentrout, and Sarah J. Maas fans. Please check the trigger warnings page in the table of contents before reading this book.

3.5 stars, A little boring to say the least.
Format: Kindle
Wow so I'm not sure where to begin on this one. This was a very different take on the legend of Arthur and Excalibur. This is told from the point of view of Morgan the sister of Arthur. Honestly the first 50% of this book is world building and character building which unfortunately was super boring for me. Morgan to me was a female MC that had a hard time in believing in herself. Sometimes taking too long to understand exactly what was going on around her. Draven was also a different male MC, like I couldn't put my finger on him and what he was all about. It was not until the last 10% of the book did we get some answers on the mystery that is Draven. The other 50% of the book centered around this big journey with everyone having a different motive. We see a spark of magic around this time that had me excited but then we never expanded upon that and what it could mean for the female MC. I feel like I want to read the second book just to see where this goes, but the spice was probably a 2 out of 5. Side characters are ok, Lancelet was fun but I almost felt like I wanted more.

A bewitching retelling of Arthurian legend!
Format: Kindle
In a land where the Fae have nearly become only a legend and those who still posses even a morsel of the blood are few and far between, Morgan finds herself cast aside by most of society due to her rumored half-Fae lineage, including her brother, King Arthur. With the kingdom at the brink of war, Arthur entrusts her with a quest to retrieve a Fae weapon of legendary power: the sword of Perun, Excalibur. Accompanied by men she loathes, Captain Kairos Draven and Ragnar Whitehorn, she embarks on her long and unbeknownst perilous journey, only to find that things she once believed to be myth are in fact very real. With devastating twists, omitted truths, witty banter and fierce action, Queen of Roses leaves you begging to know more about the secrets of Aercanum! Wow, wow, wow! Going into this story, I did not realize that it was going to be a retelling of Arthurian legend, especially not one with a fantastical twist! The unique spin almost gave me The Witcher vibes and I think adding Fae into the mix was quite interesting. I knew the basics of the legend but after reading this book, it has piqued my interest and makes me want to learn more about it. My attention was snatched as soon as I finished the prologue and I knew that I was going to devour this story. I truly enjoyed the gender swaps and even how Arthur was portrayed as villainous. Morgan’s past and even her parts of her present is absolutely heartbreaking, and I felt for her at times. I can only recall one other book that made me hate characters the way I despised Florian and Arthur, leaving me with my blood boiling and feeling disgusted. Even after finishing the book, Draven is still a mystery to me and I cannot figure out how to feel about him. I guess they just means that the author did an excellent job at conveying each character’s persona! The rich world building and imagery made it easy for me to visualize the places that the group visited along their journey. I am truly engulfed in this story and I cannot wait to see wait fate awaits Morgan and how the Fae will be even more incorporated in the next book!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
