Learn the ancient art of coiled basketry - with a bit of a twist. Instead of a basket, you'll craft a beautiful silk pendant.

The palette grades from very light to dark forest green. You can make your color gradation like mine, or try your own ideas.

The mini-course guides you through every step from beginning the coil to attaching the pendant to the necklace cord.

 I'll show you how to create a necklace cord that needs no clasp, and it's adjustable too!

There are enough materials to make two pendants.

Here's what you get:

6 spools of Kreinik Silk Serica embroidery thread -each spool is 11yds (10m) 

1 card of Kreinik Silk Mori embroidery thread - 8 yds (7.3m)

cotton macrame cord - 100 inches (approx 2.5 m)

2 tapestry needles - in case you lose one

2 waxed cotton cords for the necklaces  - each 40 inches long (approx 1 m)

One 6x8 inch cotton muslin bag - to store it all in
