However, if you don't increase the amount of air you're getting as well, your engine will run rich. This leads to poor fuel economy and high EGTs or exhaust gas temperatures.
With a simple 5-minute installation of Pacific Performance Engineering's Boost Increase Valve, you'll increase your boost pressure from 18-20 psi to 23-25 psi. By adding that additional air flow, you'll not only lower the dreaded exhaust gas temperatures, you'll also increase power and clean up your fuel economy.
