Escape: The Curse of the Temple is a cooperative game in which players must escape (yes...) from a temple (yes...) which is cursed (yes...) before the temple collapses and kills one or more explorers, thereby causing everyone to lose.

The initial game board consists of a row of three square tiles, each showing a combination of two symbols, say, two green adventurers or one green adventurer and one blue key in one corner of the tile. All of the explorers start in the center tile – the safe room – and each player starts with a hand of five dice. Each die has five symbols:

  • A cursed mask – this die is set aside when rolled.
  • A golden mask – each such symbol counteracts two cursed masks, either your own or those of another explorer in the same room.
  • A red torch or blue key – these are used to enter rooms, access treasure, or activate gems.
  • A green adventurer, which appears twice on the die – you need these to move from room to room, and to activate some gems.

Escape is played in real-time, with all players rolling dice and taking actions simultaneously. You must roll the right symbols to enter a room, and if you're at an open doorway, you can roll to reveal the next tile in the stack and add it to that doorway. Some rooms contain combinations of red and blue symbols, and if you (possibly working with other players in the same room) roll enough red or blue symbols, you "discover" magic gems, moving them from a separate gem depot onto that tile.

The real-time aspect is enforced by a soundtrack to be played during the game. At certain points, a countdown starts, and if players aren't back in the safe room when time is up, they lose one of their dice.

Once the exit tile is revealed, players can attempt to escape the temple by moving to that tile, then rolling a number of blue dice equal to the magic gems that haven't been removed from the gem depot. Thus, the more gems you find, the easier it is to escape the temple. When a player escapes, he gives one die to a player of his choice. If all players escape before the third countdown, everyone wins; if not, everyone loses, no matter how many players did escape.

Escape: The Curse of the Temple includes two expansion modules that can be used individually or together. With the "Treasures" module, some rooms contain treasure, and when you reveal such a room, you place a face-down treasure chest on the tile. Roll the symbols on that chest tile, and you claim the treasure for use later: a key lets you teleport anywhere, a path lets you connect two rooms that otherwise have no door between them, and a medic kit heals all players instantly (putting black dice back into play). With the "Curses" module, some tiles "curse" players by forcing them to place one hand on their head, keep mute during play, or otherwise do what you wouldn't want to do while escaping a temple!

Happy with purchase, easy to install, exactly what I needed
For many years, I'd been using a similar item with a wedge-type vent mount that finally stretched out and became unusable. When searching for a replacement, I wanted to try one with a different type of mount and I looked at many brands/types of holders. This one seemed to be the best item for the price ($8.99 at the time). So far, I'm very happy with it. I got it in a timely manner, and it was exactly as advertised. I had no problems attaching the hook to the vent fin and securing it. I use it for a GPS, and since the holder is designed to stand out away from the vent a bit, my device is easier to see than previously and details are easier to read. It wobbles, occasionally, but the holder's not loose, at all, and it doesn't affect my ability to read the device. The frame is barely just big enough to hold my GPS, but so far that hasn't been a problem. The device slides into the frame easily, locks securely, and stays put. The holder pops open at the touch of a button on the back, and the device can be removed easily, without issue.

Prevents me from adjusting the air vent up or down
It's true that it doesn't block the air flow. I had to put it on the left passenger side vent to retain the ability to point the driver's air vents where I want. With it over there, I have to turn my head too far to the right when I'm driving to see my phone, and the passenger can't adjust the vent up or down. Also, phone can't tilt as far left and right as other ones. Good price, unique design, easy to install, feels sturdy, holds iPhone SE fine, and doesn't block my view of the entertainment system.

BETTER THAN A CUP HOLDER
I had a cup-holder mount and it was always falling apart. No matter how it was turned, to unfasten my phone I had to move the spring part of the holder in the same direction that removes the entire clip from the stem of the mount. Of course, I eventually lost the clip. What a bad idea. And, in a 4-Runner, on my cupholder, MAPS sometines got lost and I would have to hold my phone up to the windshield for a minute to get back MAPS back on track. Also not a good Idea. We're not supposed to be handeling a phone and driving so holding my phone up to the windshield is kinda like flagging down a cop. (The 4-Runner has hand-free phone service, as well as some kind of circuitious navigation but it's always lost.) . So, for about $9 on sale, I though I would try one of these LISEN mounts. It works great ! Really. Easy to attach securely but scratchlessly it to my center AC/heat vent and It is infantly moveable. Swing the arm 360 degrees, in and out, phone up or saideways, and tilt the phone to me or the Boss. If I get bored, I can relocate it anywhere along the center vents, or even over to my side vent if I have nothing better to do.. It is sturdy, quiet, easy to clamp in my S21, and release is simplye by pushing the button on the back. Sooo much better that my previous mount, for a third of the price. It might be the best $9 you ever spent. And still worthwhile,if you have to shell out the $18. (But I always try to avoid paying full price for anything). Enjoy !

Usable but average, with only basic build quality and stability.
This in-car phone mount is fairly average overall. It’s easy to install and works for basic navigation needs, but the build quality isn’t particularly impressive. The materials feel a bit ordinary, and stability can be an issue on rough roads, with some looseness over time. It’s usable, but not outstanding.

Best wax ever - not kidding!
We have 2 classic cars we restored and put in shows, along with our regular daily drivers. Some of the cars are darker colors, like grey, blue, or black, and the others are white and a light seafoam green. The problems I've had with other waxes, including other higher end products was streaking, and not being able to remove the swirls. Not so with Black light. This is hands down the best wax I have ever used. The application is simple, and I've done it in shade as well as sun, both with excellent results. Use a microfiber applicator to apply, thin, not thick coats in a circular motion. Then wait - let it set for 15 minutes. Final step - use a clean microfiber cloth to remove. It removes so easy, and leaves no swirl or haze like other waxes. The depth of shine is also noticeable. It makes the paint smooth with a deep shine, no matter the color or if its metallic or not. It just looks great. Bonus - it even smells great! I was so impressed I ordered a few more of their products and we'll be testing those shortly. For years I've bought and tried almost everything at stores and car shows and nothing impressed me. Black Light impresses me so much I'll be using it exclusively from now on. It's really that good.
