This final volume gathers every mixtape from Natural Selections Volumes 1–4 alongside a concluding “funeral mix” created by the project’s founder. The zine is risograph printed in three colors by Play Nice Press in Dallas, giving the artwork and layouts the distinctive layered textures and vibrant imperfections associated with the process.
Part music archive, part art publication, and part collaborative project, this compilation offers a wide-ranging look at how people use songs, sequencing, and visual design to communicate meaning through the mixtape format.
