Mounting to the OEM tow hook location allows for a direct fit while hugging the contours of your bumper for a clean, seamless installation. Additionally, moving the plate to the side and angling to follow the body lines helps reduce wind resistance and free up space in the center to allow critical airflow to reach your radiator. Cover too loose.

Nice looking, decent quality, versatile for different gauges. My only complaint with this holder is the cover doesn’t stay on very well, bought 3, and all 3 pop off easily, you will need to zip tie on.
