A beautifully expressive red blend from the granitic hillsides of Pumanque in Chile’s Colchagua Valley, the 2020 Viña Dagaz Cuvée El Camino offers a seamless union of structure, spice, and freshness. This cuvée reflects the journey of the winemakers—Marco Puyo and Patricio Gómez-Barris—whose vision is rooted in revealing the energy and identity of the coastal terroir.

Crafted from hand-harvested Cabernet Sauvignon and Carménère, the wine was fermented with native yeasts and aged for 10 months in seasoned French oak barrels, adding subtle notes of spice, mocha, and cedar without overpowering the fruit. The result is a modern, mineral-driven expression of Chilean terroir with elegance and depth.

Drinking well now, though it will reward careful cellaring over the next 3–5 years as the tannins integrate and earthy complexity builds.
