Made from the finest materials, we use #316 stainless steel, the toughest and most corrosion resistant of all the food-grade stainless steels to seal in all the juicy goodness of your fresh produce. Instead of painting, we apply a scratch-proof coating and finish with a cap made from sustainable bamboo. 

The thermos starts from huge rolls of stainless steel. These rolls are welded together into long tubes, cut to length, hydro-formed into the thermos shape, the bottoms are welded on, and the top is threaded for the cap. Then, the inner and outer parts of the thermos are welded together and put in a giant vacuum oven that pulls all the air out, so a glass plug can be melted in place to permanently seal the vacuum in. Next, the ceramic powder coating is baked on and the PURE brand mark is added. Finally, the bamboo cap is screwed on.
