Початок повномасштабної війни вплинув на всіх нас, залишивши відбитки в житті кожного українця і водночас закарбувавши слід — історію пройденого в той час досвіду.

Влітку 2022-го письменниця Ірена Карпа, проконсультувавшись із психологинею Ларисою Волошиною, започаткувала онлайн-курс 'Терапевтичне письмо', де допомагала учасницям проговорювати пережитий біль та виплескувати емоції у власноруч написаних історіях. Ці заняття виявилися корисними та ефективними, тож Ірена  продовжила працювати в напрямку творчого терапевтичного письма і заснувала курс 'My Story', під час якого запропонувала студенткам попрацювати над досвідом, пережитим під час повномасштабної російсько-української війни. На курсі учасниці писали твори, в яких ділилися власними історіями чи історіями близьких людей, створюючи оповідання на основі реальних подій. Усвідомивши, що ці тексти справді варті уваги, Ірена Карпа загорілася ідеєю: 'видати збірку текстів не професійних письменниць, а “звичайних героїнь у надзвичайних обставинах”'.

Так з’явилася збірка короткої прози 'Я не знаю, як про це писати'. Це історії проживання російсько-української війни, які, художньо переосмислені та втілені в оповідання й есеї, звучать розмаїто, але є голосами одного спільного досвіду. 'Говорити, розповідати, радитися вголос зі своїми — це те, що тримає нас у найскладніші часи, — каже Ірена Карпа. — Ці історії — якраз такі'. Письменниця пояснює, що терапевтичне письмо здатне звільнити: сміхом, проговоренням, фіксацією емоцій та подій, виплескуванням гніву й ненависті, а чи любові та вдячності, збереженням пам’яті про тих, кого варто пам’ятати. В кінці збірки Ірена Карпа пропонує читачам також спробувати записати власну історію або просто свої думки. 'Бо хто, як не ви, є головним героєм вашого життя?' — каже вона.

Втілювати ідею в книжку Ірені допомагала редакторка та упорядниця Жанна Капшук. 'Ця збірка — ніби розмова, що має свій рух: від думок про дім — через почуття розгубленості, запитань і невизначеності — через ухвалені рішення та пошук стійкості — через втрати і біль та важкі переживання — через пошук світла у темряві — через сміх крізь сльози або сміх завдяки гумору — до пошуків шляхів до себе та свого відновлення', — ділиться Жанна.

Alexa messed me up, but the company of the chair made it right!

I wanted something small with arms that moved out of the way when I wanted to slide my chair all the way into my desk for more space. This fit the bill. I loved the color blue and I had that in my cart for a bit. One day Alexa mentioned that an item that was in my cart was on sale. It was the chair. I let it be ordered. When it came it didn't exactly look blue to me. But I kept putting it together thinking maybe it was the lighting in the room I was assembling it in. I brought it to my craft room and lo and behold it is light purple. I looked at my order and sure enough it said light purple. Boo! I looked in my saved cart and the chair was gone. So I accepted it for an error. The next day I checked to see if I could return it. Thought I could, till I read that I would have to pay to return it. So I wrote the seller to tell them to ignore the return. And that was that. Till a couple days later I get an email from the seller asking if I would like a full refund or a replacement at no cost. I was like heck yeah send me the blue one. I was thrilled and I wanted to thank the seller for doing this without the return of the other chair. But I could not find a place to do that now. So here is where I will thank you. Thank you so much for doing this for me. You guys are AWESOME!. I love the chair and I love the blue color. I find it very comfortable, lite, easy to adjust, the size works great for me, and for the price the quality fits my needs. I do hope it lasts me for quite some time. Thanks again!

Wonderful chair

I bought this office chair as a sewing tool, you might say. I felt that having an office chair on wheels would get me from the sewing machine to the ironing board and then to the cutting board and back to the sewing machine. I was having to get up and down to get around to all these places before and this saves me so much time and effort. I’m 71 so when the box came I was hesitant to try to bust into it and put it together but it went together so easily. It’s very comfortable and the lumbar support feels great on my low back. When I first sat down after the assembly process, the chair cushion tipped down in the front but after contacting the support team I was advised to tighten the tilt tension located under the chair and that fixed me right up! All and all, my chair is the perfect addition to my sewing area at a very affordable price. I couldn’t be happier!

Comfortable, affordable, and great for small spaces!

I had previously left a review of two stars, but have since deleted that review after I've owned the chair for a few weeks now. Initially, I stated the chair was uncomfortable and not cushioned at all. But this issue quickly resolved after sitting it for a longer time, it seems the cushion molds to you. So it may be uncomfortable the first few times sitting on it, but it eventually softens. The cushion is now soft yet sturdy. You don't sink in too much, but it's comfortable for sitting for long periods of time. I personally enjoy the mesh back as well, it supports my lower back and doesn't cause back pain. Normally I have to use a cushion of my own to support my lower back for most chairs, but this one actually supports me in a way that doesn't require an extra cushion - so that's really nice. The chair is fairly on the smaller end, which is perfect for low desks or tight spaces, which is exactly what I wanted. The height can be adjusted, but even at the highest setting, it is still fairly low. Keep that in mind - it may not be super comfortable for those over 6 ft. The arms flip up which makes storing it under a low desk very easy. The cushion is thick and very accurate to the picture. I love that it is lightweight and doesn't make much noise when rolling the chair. It also feels very sturdy. Some of the reviews say it feels flimsy, and I don't know if some are just assembling it incorrectly, because for me this thing is very strong and holds up quite nicely under my weight. Overall, this is exactly what I wanted for my personal living space. A chair that's not too bulky, but comfortable enough to sit in for long hours. It functions as advertised for this purpose. One final thing -- the color selection is gorgeous. I bought the light purple color and it fits my setup nicely! Color was accurate to the picture, and looks very cute and adorable in my space.
