Evolution

These Cretaceous Ammonite Douvilleiceras from Madagascar 35*27*18mm selections weigh 23g or 25g. Each features a purple flash opalised iridescence. They were found in the Mahananga Province of Madagascar. They date from the Cretaceous Period, about 105 million years ago. Ammonoids are an extinct subclass of mostly coiled-shelled cephalopods. They are more closely related to living octopuses, squid, and cuttlefish; than they are to nautiloids, which are in a different family. Ammonite is a powerful healing fossil. The Ammonites dominated the Earth’s oceans for over 340 million years, making them one of the longest living creatures seen on Earth. The earliest ammonoids appeared during the Early Devonian, 410.62 million years ago. The last species vanished through the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event, 66 million years ago. They are commonly called ammonites, after the long-lived order Ammonitida.

The Ammonite’s spiral shape symbolises continual change and evolution. Ammonites have absorbed cosmic energy over millennia, which helps stimulate the life force within us. Having an Ammonite in your home will attract health, prosperity and success.

The Ammonite spirals are like a filter. They draw in negative energies which are no longer needed. These move through the spirals to be released as fresh, loving positive life-force energies.

Ammolites are Ammonite fossils found in Madagascar and Alberta (Canada) displaying iridescence through compression and mineralisation of the Ammonite fossil. These iridescent Ammonites can be of gem quality when polished. This iridescence would not have been visible during the animal's life. It was covered by additional shell layers.

Kinda flimsy…
Thought the assembly was metal, it’s some kind of PVC.

Great look and storage space
I've had these shelves for two years now, and still love them. I love the industrial style. They add lots of great storage space for a small apartment. I have two sets - one for the laundry room and the other as a linen closet. Assembly is okay. Make sure you follow the instructions.

Pleased. Looks nice and set up well.
Looks nice and is a unique look to put mementos, small book, and photos. Pretty solid when tightened up properly. Shelves have a cheap veneer to them but you can’t tell until you touch it. It is very secure if you attach this to a stud. I did not drill to the floor and it is fine. Wall anchors suck in drywall and this is big enough you should be attaching to one stud minimum. Here is A little trick to secure the shelving unit properly if the studs don’t work in your favor. Take a pine 1x3 or 1x4 and cut to the width of the shelving. Paint them the same color as the wall. You will barely notice the board. Place the assembled shelve amd mark where the pipe anchors attach on the wall. Use those marks to place the boards and drill them directly to studs. Mount the pipe feet anchors to the board. See picture. Solid!
