Rhema Concrete Vase

You know that feeling when something just fits? When it finds its place so naturally, it’s like it was always meant to be there? That’s what the Rhema Vase is to me. And maybe, just maybe, it’ll be that for you too.

Let me tell you a little story.

I started working with concrete because of my love for home decor and accent pieces for the home. In the initial stages, I worked with concrete making candle holders, candle vessels, plant pots, and little accents that turn a space into a home. But there was always something missing. I wanted a VASE. Not just any vase, but one that felt modern yet soft, organic yet structured. A piece that could stand on its own or hold the wildflowers you picked up on a whim. But every mold I found was too small, too rigid, too… not it.

Then, in 2023, I finally found it. And in that same year, my brother and sister-in-law welcomed their daughter, Rhema! :) their first little girl after two boys.

If you know me, you know I name things after what matters most. And Rhema? She was long-awaited and, deeply loved . Her name means spoken word—something full of life, meaning, and presence.

So, of course, this vase had to be hers.

Handcrafted in warm, earthy tones; neutral, brown, olive, terracotta, and sand—this piece was made to feel settled. Like a favorite corner of your home, the one with the softest light in the afternoon. Like the kind of thing you bring home and immediately wonder how you ever lived without it.
