The AirDog operates by pulling fuel from the fuel tank containing entrained air/vapor, particulate contaminates and unknown quantities of moisture. Water and big particle contaminants are removed from the fuel when it travels through the water separator. The fuel then reaches the fuel pump with just the entrained air/vapor and minute contaminants still present. The residual particle contaminants are captured and trapped while the fuel flows through the fuel filter under positive pressure. The entrained air and vapor are also separated and returned to the tank. The clean fuel is then delivered to your engine at the correct pressures.
