This tool is designed to clamp onto the gear and hold the 2 gear halves in alignment, making assembly and disassembly easier. Tested and proven on Vauxhall 1.3 CDTi (B13) diesel engine camshafts and BMW B37 1.5L diesel balance shaft gears.
Applications include: Vauxhall/Opel Corsa E, 1.3 diesel (from 2015). Engine codes: LKU/B13DTE, LKU/B13DTR and LKV/B13DTC.
Applications also include: BMW 1.5 Diesel 1 Series (from 2015), 2 series (from 2014), X1 (from 2015) and BMW MINI One (from 2014) with engine codes: B37 C15A and B37 D15A.
Also suitable for some Mercedes Benz applications.
Equivalent to OEM numbers BMW 11 5 370 and 654 589 00 31 00, Mercedes 654 589 00 31 00 and Vauxhall/Opel EN-50509.
