RECOMMENDED USAGE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FLOOD CONTROL: Remove any debris from the areas where the sand bags will be placed; fill each sand bag 1/2 to 3/4 full with your material (sand, dirt, gravel) and then tie at the top; place sand bags outside and against the entry points of your home or business (such as doors and garages) to form a wall; orient the sand bag wall roughly parallel to the water flow; stack the sand bags like bricks, stacking the bag right in the middle of the 2 bags beneath it; tamp, flatten, and alternate the bags.
