Our current culture seems to be increasingly divided on countless issues, including those affecting the church. But for centuries, theological disagreements, political differences, and issues relating to church leadership have made it challenging for Christians to foster unity and love for one another. In this book, author Tim Cooper explores this polarization through the lives of two oppositional figures in church history: John Owen and Richard Baxter. Cooper highlights their individual stories while showing how their contrasting life experiences, personalities, and temperaments led to their inability to work together. After exploring these lessons from the past, readers will gain insights into their own relationships, ultimately learning how to love and live in harmony with their fellow believers despite their disagreements.

______________

Tim Cooper (PhD, University of Canterbury) serves as professor of church history at the University of Otago in New Zealand. He is the author of John Owen, Richard Baxter and the Formation of Nonconformity and an editor of the Oxford University Press scholarly edition of Baxter’s autobiography.

______________

“In When Christians Disagree, Tim Cooper investigates the impact of personality and pride, history and hostility, and experience and environment on the tragic breakdown of peace between two giants of the Puritan movement—John Owen and Richard Baxter. Demonstrating that every believer (and pastor) has blind spots, struggles with sin, and wrestles with pride, Cooper draws practical implications for Christians striving to cultivate unity and humility in the body of Christ. The reflections of this insightful, balanced, and accessible work are invaluable for pastoral ministry, historical analysis, and practical Christian living. Above all, the failures that Cooper highlights in the lives of Owen and Baxter should encourage us to boast alone in the one perfect man—the spotless Lamb of God whose glories these men rejoiced to proclaim.” Joel R. Beeke, Chancellor and Professor of Homiletics and Systematic Theology, Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary; Pastor, Heritage Reformed Congregation, Grand Rapids, Michigan

Smells great, works well! ❤️
Made a basket for my husband, smells so so good!!! He loves new face creames and he says this stuff feels great. He struggles with black heads and I already saw improvement in his skin texture in just 2 washes.

Good product, but needs a little work to be perfect.
Honest product review here: It's very close to being perfect. 1. The tubes are a very good size, I get annoyed with products that cost a lot and the tubes are the size of my fingers (Tiege). 2. The foaming cleanser is great, no complaints. My face feels very clean. 3. The facial scrub could use some work. This could be a preference but I like my facial scrubs to feel like they're taking a steel wool pad to my face and grinding the dead skin off, and afterwards I get that "fresh air" feel on my face. This doesn't cut it for me. If this was improved I would like this more. 4. The moisturizer. I'll start off with the good, it feels GREAT! It's not oily, it takes only 15-30seconds of rubbing to really get into my skin and just overall great feeling. HOWEVER, who the hell designed that smell. It's like a chemical mint, what in the world, I've never smelled anything like that. Not a fan, I feel us men have to deal with the worst smells; fresh sport, swagger, and tree bark for our options (i elect to pick tree bark). Now chemical mint??? Needs work. 5. No comments on the eye cream, I didn't use it. Probably never will who knows. This is a really solid product, the volume is there for the price, the moisturizer feels great, and the cleanser feels great. If they could fix the intensity of the facial scrub and that moisturizer smell it would be a 5 star for me. If you are the product design team or owner and you're reading this, it's close. Fix the two items I mentioned and you have me as a customer for life. However, I would advise against pushing that price point above $40. I feel the $32-$35 is a sweet spot. Tiege team has lost their minds pushing $45 product for those tubes, don't do that.

My new choice for skincare!
Was looking for new skincare and came across Viking Revolution. Let me just say I’m happy I did! Phenomenal skincare that really gets the job done. Luxurious lather on the Foaming cleanser, that leaves my face fresh and clean but not stripped of moisture. The microdermabrasion Skin Scrub is my fave and gentle enough to use everyday. My skin definitely looks brighter since I started using this. The set does come with an eye cream which is pretty great, and a moisturizer that doesn’t leave my skin and beard feeling greasy but nice and soft. Extremely impressed w the large sizes in the set and I’m totally a fan and loyal customer now. Excited to try some of their other products which there are a ton! Pricing is reasonable for everything you get and believe me a little goes a long way. 5 stars!! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A major upgrade from standard drugstore brands—sophisticated scent & better lather.
I have been a long-time user of standard body washes (think Old Spice, Axe, or Dove Men), but I kept seeing hype about Cremo and decided to see if it was worth the slightly higher price tag. After using the 32oz Spice & Black Vanilla for a week, I can confidently say this is a massive upgrade for your shower routine. Here is how it stacks up against the typical grocery store brands: 1. The Scent is on another level: Most cheaper washes smell like generic "Sport" or "Ocean" cologne. This scent is much more complex and earthy. Top Notes: It starts with a sharp, spicy kick (that's the cardamom). Finish: It settles into a smooth, warm vanilla and tobacco scent. It smells more like a high-end department store fragrance than a soap. Staying Power: The scent actually lingers. If you shower in the morning, you will still catch subtle hints of the warm spices for a few hours, which pairs really well with woody colognes. 2. Performance & Feel: The consistency is thicker than what I'm used to. You only need one solid pump to get a rich lather with a loofah. Crucially, it rinses clean without leaving that "squeaky" residue that dries out your skin, but it also doesn't leave a slick oily film like some ultra-moisturizing washes do. It hits a perfect balance. 3. Value: The 32oz bottle is substantial. Because the gel is concentrated, I expect this bottle to last 3-4 months easily, making the cost per ounce very reasonable compared to buying smaller bottles of cheaper stuff every few weeks. Pros: Sophisticated, "grown-up" scent profile. High-quality pump (sturdy, doesn't clog). Non-drying formula is great for colder months. Cons: Potency: The scent is strong. If you are sensitive to fragrance or prefer unscented products, this might be overwhelming. The bathroom will smell like it for a good 20 minutes after you're done (which I enjoy, but keep it in mind). Verdict: This bridges the gap between basic hygiene and luxury grooming. If you are tired of smelling like "Blue Sport" and want something warmer and more refined for the fall/winter, this is absolutely worth the switch.
