Early last year, the team at renown everyday carry brand Ekster reached out to us with an idea to make a limited Microblade & Card Holder combo.

The ethos was simple: they wanted something sleek, clean, but bold. Modern gear for a modern carry.

After that first conversation, we decided red would be our color of choice. More specifically, how could make a Microblade entirely red - almost like it had been dipped in a bucket of paint?

Turns out, that's easier said than done. We sampled this 'all red' Microblade numerous times. Painting, anodizing, cerakoting... nothing felt quite right. But a couple months back, we finally got it.

The WESN x Ekster Microblade - an entirely red pocket knife to its core. Bold, bright, entirely unique.

Both the blade and handle on this knife have been carefully painted and heat treated, layer by layer, to secure a lifetime of use and bright coloring.

To pair, the Ekster team took a crack at redesigning one of their card holders to both foil and complement this unique Microblade. What resulted is the WESN x Ekster Card Holder. A lightweight aluminum wallet that can hold up to 12 cards, bills, and more. 

In contrast to the Microblade, this wallet is blacked out with red accents - dual WESN x Ekster branding, and a button to access your cards with.

Available on the WESN site on Wednesday, October 8th - at 11am EST / 5pm CET. As always with our collaborations, stock is limited, and will likely go fast.
