In our New York studio we practice French decoupage with care and patience. The artwork is laid in reverse on the underside, sealed with hand-brushed varnish, and then the glass is gently bent so the color lifts when the light moves. Ben signs each piece before it leaves the bench.

Style it on a vanity to catch rings, on a bar cart for citrus and olives, or stand it upright for a bright cabinet-of-curiosities moment. The back is felted, the surface wipes clean, and the tray is food safe. A folded note explains the time-honored process, a small story to keep with a very photogenic keepsake.
