You have to wiggle it around to make it totally straight and just tightening the nut underneath is not enough, it takes some adjusting. That is not enough to reduce the rating since it is so pretty and the tray below is great.

It hold everything well and looks really nice on my dresser. I like that the variations in the leaves allows for me to hang things of varying size up in a way that’s cute and accessible when I want to wear it. I like having all my jewelry visible at a glance. The base is a really light weight wood and so you can’t screw the top super tightly just because the wood wouldn’t hold up to that very well. That means that the tree may lean or spin a bit if you’re grabbing your earring and it’s base from one of the leaves. There’s no fear of breakage, but just not the ideal experience. So it’s not the sturdiest. It doesn’t really need to be to do what it does, but that’s the one thing I wish could be improved about this display.
