Oval gilt-bronze medal with eyelet for ribbon suspension;
the face with a tattered standard, lightning bolts below, dated ‘1914 1918’ to the left above a sprig of laurel, inscribed above ‘Blank die Wehr, Rein die Her’ (Shining Arms, Pure Honour), signed ‘HOSAEÜS’ at the base, all within a stylised laurel border;
the reverse inscribed ‘Aufrecht u stoß gehen wir aus dem Kampfe den wir über vier Jahre gegen eine Welt von Feinden bestanden, Hindenburg’ (Upright and battered we came through four years of struggle withstanding a world of enemies, Hindenburg), a small five-pointed star above and below, circumscribed above ‘für Treue im Weltkriege’ (for Loyalty in the World War), circumscribed below ‘Der Kyffhäuserbund’.

The medal was instituted in 1922 and, until the issue of the Cross of Honour of the World War (Ehrenkreuz des Weltkrieges), better known as the ‘Hindenburg Cross’ in 1934, was often the only medal of the German soldiers of World War I.
The Kyffhäuserbund der Deutschen Landeskriegerverbände veterans’ organisation was set up some years before World War I and Field Marshal Paul von Beneckendorff und von Hindenburg was its President of Honour during the 1920s. After his death in 1934, the medal was amended by the National Socialist government with the addition of a cross gammée (Hackenkreuz or swastika)9571

Good protection, water resistant

I love their products. This is no exception. Used it recently in the Caribbean and Florida. Did a great job of protecting my lips and also seemed to have some resistance to washing off when I was swimming or snorkeling.

This lip balm has worked well for me overall. It does what I want from an SPF lip balm and I have not had any major complaints using it. The only minor downside is that it is a little soft, so when you first start using a tube you may notice a few small chunks on your lips. That has not been a big enough issue to bother me much, but it is worth mentioning. Aside from that, it has been a good product and I would keep using it.

Reliable protection that stays put during workouts!
Style: SPF 50, Size: 8 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I’ve tried many expensive name-brand sunscreens, but this Amazon Basics version performs just as well, if not better. It’s become my go-to for morning runs and trips to the beach because it actually stays on even when I’m sweating.
Why I gave it 5 stars:
Non-Greasy Formula: Unlike other sport sunscreens, this one absorbs quickly and doesn't leave that heavy, sticky film on my skin.
Actually Water Resistant: I’ve used it for laps in the pool and long hikes; as long as I reapply as directed, I haven't had a single sunburn.
No "Sting": One of the best things is that it doesn't run into my eyes and sting when I start to sweat—a huge plus for runners.
Great Value: You get a generous 8-ounce bottle for a fraction of the price of "premium" brands. The fact that it’s formulated without Oxybenzone is an added bonus for peace of mind.
If you’re looking for effective, no-frills sun protection for an active lifestyle, you can't beat this. It’s a staple in my gym bag now!

Great value and very practical

This sunscreen is a great value for the price. The SPF 50 protection works well and the lotion applies smoothly without feeling too greasy. It absorbs nicely and provides good coverage for outdoor activities.
I especially like using these bottles to refill the sunscreen dispensers at my Airbnb for guests. It’s convenient, reliable, and affordable when you need multiple bottles available.
