Cardiomega Omega 3 sprinkle capsules

Feeding

Feed one capsule per day for every 10kg of your dog’s weight. A 20kg dog would get two capsules per day. The capsules could be either given whole or the capsules opened and the granules sprinkled on the food. 

Ingredients

Cardiomega capsules contain 400mg proprietary Atlantic salmon extract approximately equivalent to 1500mg DHA and 1200mg EPA. In the case of heart health, the high DHA is particularly important in regulating the heart rate.

Science

Omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA play an essential role in heart metabolism. They keep inflammation low and they help regulate electrical impulses that control the heart beat. Some dogs with heart conditions can suffer irregular heart beat and arrythmia.

Cardiomega carries the omega 3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA, directly to the tissues as naturally occurring marine phospholipids. These phospholipids aid in transporting the EPA and DHA through cellular membranes directly to specific cellular targets, such as cardiac and neural cells. 

Phospholipids have been clinically demonstrated to have superior bio-availability compared to other fish oils. Research has shown that because the marine phospholipids contain DHA and EPA in a specific location on the carbon chain, they are up to 50 times more absorbable than pressed fish oils* by cell membranes.
