The Ensoniq EPS is a 61-key sampler and synthesiser released in 1988, known for its innovative features at the time. It offered 13-bit sampling with multiple sample rates ranging from 6.25kHz to 52.1kHz, though higher rates reduced polyphony. The EPS allowed for on-the-fly sample loading during live performances, a rare feature for its time. It featured 20-note polyphony, an 8-track sequencer, and the ability to layer and split samples across the keyboard. The EPS also included advanced looping options, digital filters, and extensive MIDI capabilities, making it a versatile tool for both studio production and live performance

Condition:

• This is a used unit. 

• This unit has had a minor service and we can confirm it is fully functional.

• Physically this unit shows some general wear from use and age. This includes some nicks, and marks. Some text has rubbed off a bit. Nothing major at all though. Please see all photos. 

• All potentiometers and buttons on this EPS are responsive and function as they should.

• This EPS has a floppy disk drive. This disk drive is still working well. A boot disk is included in this sale. 

• This EPS has the ME-1A EPS 2 x Memory Expansion installed. This expander doubles the stock RAM, to give 896kb of sample memory.

• This unit is 240V. This means it is ready to plug and play within Australia and New Zealand.  

• If you purchase from overseas you will most likely need a step-up transformer to use this unit.

• This unit powers on with an IEC cable. This cable is not included in the sale. 

• This sale is for the EPS only. Nothing else is included.
