The album of photographer Roman Yusim depicts everyday life of Ukrainian peasants in the 60s - 80s. He recorded touching moments of an irretrievable past: powerful, gazing into eternity portraits that speak volumes, mesmerizing rural Landscapes and farms that capture rustic charm and the simplicity of life. Old carts making creaking sounds, water splashing over a pond, sparrows chirping under thatched roofs act like an echo of of a distant past. It wasn't realised back then that in 50 years these photographs would become priceless treasures.
