The variegated, glossy-leaved Hoya Australis Lisa is a slow-growing but hardy houseplant that brings colour and texture to almost any room. Its leaves display soft creams, limes, and deeper greens, creating a sun-splashed look even in simple spaces. It’s easy to care for and wonderfully resilient once settled.
Light: Hoya Australis Lisa thrives in bright, indirect light, which keeps its variegation vibrant. It can tolerate medium light, but colours may mute and growth may slow. Avoid harsh direct sun, especially in the afternoon, as it can scorch the variegated foliage.
Water: Allow the soil to dry out partially between waterings. Like most Hoyas, it stores moisture in its thick leaves, so consistent overwatering can lead to root issues. Water thoroughly when the top half of the pot has dried. In winter or lower light, expect watering needs to decrease significantly.
