Designed with elite freshwater and saltwater anglers in mind, the Daiwa Sol MQ LT Spinning Reels put less weight, smoother performance, and enhanced power into the hands of anglers of all stripes. Featuring a full AirDrive system, weight is minimized with the use of a Zaion construction MQ body, along with Daiwa's Air Bail and Air Rotor. The single-piece Zaion MQ body provides rigid support for the durable Digigears made from A7075 aircraft grade aluminum for increased strength and reduced weight. A MagSeal around the main shaft effectively prevents corrosion, allowing for long-lasting smooth operation. The Sol MQ has a drag system supported by two ball bearings to enhance performance during battles. This system provides a strong drag power to the reel, ensuring a consistent and smooth payout to avoid bending or pulling hooks while fighting a fish. An EVA handle knob that stays cool in hot weather and offers a comfortable grip, even when wet. The Sol MQ LT comes in six different sizes. The 1000 size is best for trout, panfish, and ultralight inshore anglers, while the 5000 size is suited for larger inshore game and freshwater species.
