The Pelikan Souverän M600 Art Collection – Georg Tippel fountain pen brings a refined, art-forward finish to one of Pelikan’s most versatile sizes. Warm brown tones and lustrous gold accents give this edition a quietly elegant presence, while the proven M600 platform keeps it as practical at a desk as it is at a writing table. It’s a thoughtful balance of daily usability, expressive design, and German engineering.

Craftsmanship & Design

Built in Germany, the M600 chassis is celebrated for its comfortable mid-size proportions and enduring materials. High-grade resin components are complemented by gold-plated appointments and Pelikan’s signature beak clip, creating a cohesive, timeless profile. The Georg Tippel edition introduces a brown, art-inspired finish to the Art Collection series, offering a sophisticated palette that reads beautifully in natural light. A screw-on cap ensures secure carry, and the piston mechanism is operated via the rear knob with reassuring precision.

Writing Experience

Fitted with a 14k gold nib, the M600 delivers the smooth, confident glide Pelikan writers are known for. Available in extra-fine, fine, medium, and broad, the nib selection covers everything from detailed notes to expressive signatures. The internal piston-filling system provides generous ink capacity and consistent flow, making long writing sessions feel effortless. Balanced unposted and pleasantly substantial when posted, the pen sits naturally in hand without fatigue.

Brand Heritage

Pelikan has been shaping the world of fine writing since the 19th century, with piston-fillers entering the catalog in 1929 and the Souverän line later establishing the brand’s modern identity. The M600 Art Collection continues that lineage, pairing Pelikan’s engineering with artist-led aesthetics that speak to collectors and avid journalers alike. It’s a considered evolution of a classic, crafted for decades of dependable use.

Anne Helped, I'm Thankful, and She'll Wow You Too!
Format: Hardcover
A small book with a big heart. Lamott writes with honesty, humor, and grace about prayer in a way that is accessible to believers, doubters, and everyone in between. “Help, Thanks, Wow” is simple without being shallow and deeply moving without being heavy. I return to it often.

Why write another review? There are already so many for this book.
Format: Kindle
It shouldn't surprise me that books that I like, by authors that I love, are extremely popular and well reviewed. This is the case with " . We might just as well ask, "Why write another book on prayer? The world is full of them." I could forego the review entirely, but I just can't do that because I love Annie (the author) so much and I cannot pass up the opportunity to say how much I appreciate her life and her work. While this isn't my favorite "Anne Lamott" book, it is certainly worth reading, if for no other reason than the entertainment value. Her words are so skillfully crafted and lyrical that it causes joy to spring up in my soul. This book will provide some insight into prayer for everyone; from the practiced, long-time prayer practitioner to the novice; from believer to agnostic. You will discover aspects of prayer that you had not appreciated before. This is not a technical treatise on prayer, but it did encourage me to pray and to be more faithful in prayer... to be more "in the moment" and to recognize the beauty that is everywhere around us. The day this came out I bought two copies, one for Kindle (which was formatted well and flowed smoothly) and the audio version (which I will listen to the next time through). I have several of Anne's other books in the audio version and I can say it is a real treat when she reads the books herself. Do not hesitate to buy this (or any other) book by Anne Lamott. You will be happily rewarded in the reading.

Understand your loss. Celebrate your gain. Live!
Format: Kindle
A quick look at what makes us human; our principal line of relationship to the Cosmos. Maybe not always reverent, but always livable and believable. This is a book, a primer, on how to deal with the mess of life. Written with enough seriousness and tongue-in-cheek humor to be readable and thought provoking.

An Invitation into the Heart of Reality
Format: Kindle
I love reading Anne Lamott. She helps me feel that it’s okay to be human. She helps me see that prayer is human. It’s the most natural thing you can do. And, really, everybody does it, whether they know it or not. In this delightful book, Ms. Lamott reflects on what she calls three essential prayers: help, thanks, and wow! Such human expressions! She invites us, the readers, into her perspective on life, infused as it is with both the mundane and the mysterious. There are times when it is even threatening. But we are not alone. We have each other, and we have God. (Or, better, God has us.). I don’t know that Ms. Lamott would want to be called an optimist, but she certainly sees the good in the bad (or, maybe after the bad). Life is both, she seems to say, but all is okay. So we ask for help when we’re wise enough (or desperate enough) to do so—both for ourselves and others. And we say thanks because life is full of reasons to be grateful. And there is so much beauty around us—and tragedy too—that we cannot help but erupt with wow! I urge you to read this book. Perhaps, as you read it, you will feel as I did reading it, that you are in a conversation with someone very wise and very compassionate and very real.

Another Thanks and Wow by Anne Lamott!
Format: Hardcover
I was first introduced to Anne Lamott's writing about 25 years ago when I read her book, Bird by Bird. It was a book about how to write and from that moment she became one of my favorite authors. Help, Thanks, Wow is a wonderful book that I have underlined and reread over and over again. Her writing has a voice that many of us can relate to. It's honest and you can feel her pain. She writes with humor to balance the good with the bad. Something that is so important to learn as we go through life. Her descriptions help you see, feel, and smell when she describes "autumn...the colors are broccoli and flame and fox fur. The tang is apples. The rot smells faintly of grapes..." She tells us how to ask for help when you can't do it all by yourself, but how important it is to say thank you, thank you, thank you and Wow for all the things you are grateful for. I loved when she wrote about how service to others is joy ,but how important it is to be kind to yourself. One of my favorite passages was this one, "This morning at six when I awoke, loneliness was sitting on my chest like a dental X-ray apron, even though I was buried in hairy dog love. Help, I am sad and lonely, and already it looks like today is going to be too long. I prayed...I did a kindness to myself, as I would have a troubled friend..." Her descriptions are all like this one and easy to relate to. I loved this book and have given it to friends who have then bought it for other friends. It is definitely a WOW!!!!
