A statement ring, this Victorian jewel has a beautiful patina of wear. Filled with detail it would be a fabulous addition to any jewellery lover‘s collection.

Set at the centre is a cabochon cut rock crystal stone, prized for their magnifying quality. Beneath this is a soft worn red/ pink foil which has worn over time to give a patina of changing colour at different angles. The most intense when looking straight down.

On top of this has been set a celestial star mount in the middle of which is a single old cut diamond. It sparkles and glistens in the light when worn, a wonderful motif.

This bejewelled scene has been set into a very fine 9 carat gold band which allows the entire viewers attention to be focused on that bejewelled top.This piece was created in the UK as pure decadence and this can really be felt. It is a very rare and hard to fine example and so would make an amazing addition to anyones jewellery collection. A true treasure.

HALLMARKED: unhallmarked however this is tested as 9ct minimum

MEASUREMENTS: Finger size H (UK/AU) or 4 (US)

WEIGHT: 3.4 grams

CONDITION: this is in excellent condition for an antique ring with only a fine patina across the band and underneath of the stone.

The star is slightly askew but secure in the setting.
