A fabulous hand wrought necklace from the Arts & Crafts era (ca1900s)! This unique design features a large central pendant that hangs from a complimentary "spring" link chain. The pendant is comprised of two open circles, which are adorned with dangling smoky topaz charms. Each charm forms the shape of a concave disc, which holds a faceted smoky topaz gemstone at the center. The smoky topaz has a lovely natural color and sparkles beautifully in the light! At the top of the pendant is a fluted bail attached to the spring ring clasp at the center of the chain. A series of wrapped wire links form the length of the chain, completing the textured design.  A beautiful and artistic piece, the necklace would make a very special statement piece whether worn day or night!

Measurements: The chain measures 18.5" long and 1/4" thick. The pendant hangs 3 5/8" long from the top of the bail to the base of the dangling center charm. The large central circle measures 2" in diameter. Each dangling charm has a 3/4" diameter and measures 1/4" thick.

Condition: The necklace is in excellent vintage condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting or to the smoky topaz stones, all of which are intact and securely set. There is a natural patina on the surface of the silver that gives an antique appearance to the setting, which is normal and adds depth to the design.
