PROFILE

The ARM MK7 GTI Catted Downpipe is an essential upgrade if you're looking to get the most from your Gen 3 EA888 equipped GTI.  The stock downpipe is built with a dense catalyst that hinders exhaust flow on your EA888 engine, causing higher back-pressure, increasing turbo lag and causing your turbo to work harder. 

Replacing your OEM downpipe with the ARM MK7 GTI Downpipe will significantly improve exhaust flow, reducing the back-pressure generated by your turbocharger.  The result of the increased exhaust flow is faster turbo spool, increased power and torque, and a nice improvement in exhaust note.    

In addition, the improved exhaust flow will allow you to run increased boost targets found with Stage 2+ tuning software.  Attempting to run Stage 2+ tuning files over 25psi with the stock downpipe can put excessive stress on your turbocharger and is not recommended.  Most tuners require an upgraded downpipe to run their more aggressive tunes.  

CONSTRUCTION

Made of TIG welded T304 grade stainless steel, the ARM MK7 GTI Downpipe is designed to fit your MK7 GTI perfectly.  The ARM MK7 GTI Downpipe is constructed of a single piece design.  This solid-unit construction eliminates the exhaust leaks and installation issues commonly found with it's multi-piece downpipe counterparts. 

The laser-cut mounting bracket and CNC machined mounting prongs make for a precise fitment to your stock downpipe mounting points.  

The ARM MK7 GTI Downpipe kit comes with both a 2.5" reducer to connect to the stock exhaust system, and a straight 3" adapter to connect to upgraded cat-back exhaust systems.  This connection utilizes a CNC machined v-band system for connecting between the downpipe and adapter of your choice.  The v-band is a superior connection type compared to a slip-fit or bolt on connection as it maintains a more study and reliable seal between the two ends.  

The ARM MK7 GTI Catted Downpipe comes with a single 200 Cell High-Flow Catalyst to reduce emissions and exhaust odors commonly found with catless downpipes.  

If you're looking for a Catless Downpipe, we offer a catless version which incorporates a 4" Resonator in place of the catalyst. 

 

The ARM MK7 GTI Downpipe incorporates a stainless steel flex section between the turbo and mid-pipe mounting point.  The addition of this flex section reduces tension on the turbocharger caused from torsion during hard acceleration, cornering, and braking. 

The ARM MK7 Downpipe gives you an immediate improvement in turbo spool, power and torque.  Pairing the ARM MK7 Downpipe with a proper tune will yield gains up to 60whp and 105wtq on the stock IS20 turbocharger.

Great Pillow and Highly Adjustable

I have used a Claritin Down Alternative Pillow in the past, but they are no longer available. I am very picky with my pillows and have had a difficult time finding one that fits my needs. I decided to purchase the Coop Pillow despite the high cost. After several weeks of use, I am glad I found this one. The pillow has just the right amount fluff and support. I like that it comes with extra fill that I can use to adjust the its firmness, but I didn't need it. I'm a side sleeper and it was great right out of the box. The outer shell of the pillow is soft and very good quality. I am so glad that I found an alternative to my Claritin Pillow. The reason I only gave it 4 stars are for two simple reasons. First, the cost. This product is very comfortable, but there is no magic to its construction. The fill appears to be just finely shredded memory foam. The extra fill doesn't even come in a storage bag. It is wrapped in plastic. If you open it, you will need to find a separate storage container to put the excess fill. For this price, I would expect more. Second, this pillow is advertised as being "cool" to sleep on. However, I find it warmer than other pillows to the point it seems to trap heat. My wife has the standard Coop Pillow and I feel that it is "cooler" than this version. Of course, this is very subjective and you will need to test for yourself. Overall, this is a great pillow that has endless adjustability due to the extra fill provided. A pillow for everyone!

The surface stays smooth and soft, and it’s been a total game‑changer. It’s a keeper! I’ve had mine for almost four years now and only needed to add more filling once, about 8–10 months ago. Toss it in the dryer on low with a couple of tennis balls, and it fluffs up like new. And the icing on the cake: outstanding customer service. I highly recommend this pillow and will definitely buy it again

Nothing like the original Eden, don’t buy the name

I’ve had the original Coop Eden for 5+ years and it has been a great pillow, very comfortable, soft but supportive but when I purchased a new mattress I wanted to refresh my pillow and saw the Eden Cool+ and wanted to give it a try. I figured it could only be better than the original Eden…but it is not. While the outer cover is noticeably cooler to the touch, it is not soft like the Eden. Also, this cool material mostly gets negated if you use a pillow case anyway. The shaped fill material I would also say is “lumpier” for lack of a better word than the shredded material in the original. The combination of the harder, less supple outer casing and the lumpy material just aren’t a good combination. I will say it does sleep slightly cooler than the original Eden but not enough for the sacrifice in comfort. I would absolutely consider going back to the original Eden.
