15g protein in a real donut-style, ready-to-eat snack

Redefine Foods Protein Donuts aren't your typical gym supplement; they're a snack loaded with protein to help you actually stick to eating enough of it in a fun, tasty way. That's the key difference. You're not getting this to replace a pure protein powder or a full meal shake. You're grabbing it as a ready-to-eat donut that still gives you 15g of protein in a 58g serving, and that's the big win here.

The protein mix is what makes it stand out. It uses milk protein concentrate, whey protein concentrate, egg white powder, milk protein isolate, and collagen. This setup gives you proteins that digest at different speeds instead of all hitting fast. Whey gets aminos into your system quick, milk proteins mix whey and casein for longer release, and egg white helps with quality and how it feels to eat. Collagen isn't great for building muscle by itself, but here it adds to the total protein and helps the donut hold together, while dairy and egg do the heavy lifting for muscle repair. Bottom line: this beats a lot of 'protein treats' that just use cheap collagen or soy.

For nutrients, each donut has 140mg calcium, 1.7mg iron, 100mg potassium, 15mg magnesium, and some vitamin D (amount not specified). These aren't big supplement doses, so don't think of them that way. Daily needs are like 1,000-1,200mg for calcium, 310-420mg for magnesium, and 2,600-3,400mg for potassium from all your food. This isn't fixing that, but it's adding a bit of nutrition to a snack that usually has zero. Calcium helps with muscle squeezes, nerve signals, and strong bones. Magnesium is a cofactor for more than 3

Key Highlights

  • 15g protein per donut — that's why this thing exists. For something like a pastry, that's a solid protein punch that keeps you full, helps recovery, and makes hitting your daily protein easier than a regular donut ever could.
  • Mixed protein from milk protein concentrate, whey protein concentrate, egg white powder, milk protein isolate, and collagen. It's cool because it's not just one cheap protein; the dairy and egg make it legit for supporting your muscles.
  • Grab-and-go ease with no mixing needed. This is your go-to when life hits — commutes, work slumps, after-gym runs, or trips — and you need to stay on track without failing your nutrition.
  • No hidden blends on the label. In a world of hyped-up snacks, seeing the real nutrition facts clear as day is a win, even if it doesn't break out exact grams for each protein.
  • Packs calcium, magnesium, potassium, and iron instead of being empty calories. Doses are small, not huge, but it makes this snack smarter than your average sugary treat.
  • 140mg calcium per donut helps with bone strength, muscle work, and cell signals. Not a full calcium pill, but it's extra nutrition in a fun snack.
  • 100mg potassium gives a little electrolyte boost. Potassium keeps muscles and nerves firing right, so it's better than a zero-electrolyte snack, even if it's not a sports drink.
  • 15mg magnesium adds a bit of this key mineral for energy production and tons of body processes. Not replacing your mag supplement, but way better than most treats offer.

Who Is This For?

  • Busy gym folks who skip meals juggling work, drives, and workouts. A donut with 15g protein beats vending junk or plain pastries, especially without lugging a shaker.
  • Folks cutting fat who battle sticking to food more than training. It's a treat that adds real protein, helping ditch the all-or-nothing vibe that kills progress.
  • Everyday bodybuilders and gym rats wanting protein variety. If shakes and bars bore you, this food-like option keeps things fresh and easy.
  • Athletes on the go needing stuff that lasts. Portable, no mix, perfect for airports, hotels, or long days with iffy food.
  • Anyone dodging artificial sweetener funk. Redefine skips artificials, sweeteners, and sugar alcohols, great for sensitive tastes.
  • People easing into better eating. Swapping to this is simpler than all yogurt or dry bars, since it feels like a treat but ups your macros.

How to Use

Eat a donut when you need quick protein support. For pre-workout, wait 60-90 minutes before going hard since it's baked with fats and sweeteners, not fast liquid. Post-workout, it's awesome when you want easy over super lean. To fight hunger, slot it where cravings hit, like afternoons or nights. No stims, so no half-dose start needed, but if rich snacks bug your stomach, try half first. Stack with creatine, electrolytes, or plain whey based on goals — this is more snack than full stack. Don't make it your only protein; back it with real meals. Store cool and dry. No cycling required; keep it consistent for the win.

What to Expect

First 0-5 minutes: it's just like munching a snack, not popping a pill, and that's the fun part. No rush, tingle, or quick boost. 15-60 minutes in: that protein baked goodness keeps you full better than a shake for a lot of people. Over hours, hunger stays in check more than with a plain donut thanks to the protein. Day 1-7: the real shift is in habits; picking this over junk makes protein easier during weak spots. Weeks 2-4: if it helps you add 15g protein consistently and cut bad snacks, that's when body changes and recovery kick in. It's all about sticking to it, not instant magic.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much protein is in each Redefine Foods Protein Donut?

Each donut provides 15g of protein. That is the key selling point of the formula and what makes it meaningfully different from a standard donut or pastry.

What kind of protein does Redefine Foods use in these donuts?

The protein system includes milk protein concentrate, whey protein concentrate, egg white powder, milk protein isolate, and collagen. That mixed matrix gives the product a more credible protein profile than many snack foods that rely heavily on collagen alone.

Is this product a meal replacement?

No. It is best viewed as a protein-forward snack, not a full meal replacement. It helps with convenience and protein adherence, but it is not built to provide the full macro and micronutrient breadth of a complete meal.

Does Redefine Foods Protein Donuts contain caffeine or stimulants?

No stimulant ingredients are disclosed in the formula, and this product should be considered stim-free. It is a food-based protein snack rather than a performance supplement.

Are the minerals in this product clinically dosed?

No. Calcium is 140mg, iron 1.7mg, potassium 100mg, and magnesium 15mg, which are supportive amounts rather than full supplemental doses. They add nutritional value, but they are not high-dose mineral supplementation.

Is this good before or after a workout?

It can work in either slot depending on your preference. Before training, give yourself around 60-90 minutes since it is a baked snack. After training, it is useful when convenience matters and you want a protein-containing option without mixing a shake.

Does this donut use artificial sweeteners?

Based on available product context, the line is positioned without artificial sweeteners, artificial ingredients, or sugar alcohols. That is one reason it may appeal to users who dislike the aftertaste common in many protein snacks.

What allergens are in Redefine Foods Protein Donuts?

This product contains milk, egg, soy, and almond ingredients. Anyone with allergies to those foods should avoid it.

How does this compare to a regular protein bar?

The biggest difference is format and experience: this is a donut-style baked snack with 15g protein, not a dense compressed bar. Nutritionally, it is best compared to other indulgent protein snacks rather than lean isolates or ultra-high-protein bars.

Can I use this every day?

Yes. There are no stimulants or loading ingredients that require cycling. Daily use makes sense if it helps you hit protein targets more consistently and replace lower-protein snack choices.

Can I have Term 2 now?
Format: Kindle
This is by far my favorite book of Lyra's to date. I gobbled this book up so fast, I was so upset I finished it. I know this is going to be a book I reread, just like Fate Hollow Academy. I loved Fate Hollow Academy, so I was excited when Lyra announced she was taking us readers back to Kalista. Although the characters from Fate Hollow are mentioned several times throughout the book, this book is about Pandora and her love interests in the Demon Realm. Before you deep dive into this book, definitely look at the trigger warnings before you start. When Lyra says there's dark themes in this book, she meant it. Also, just know this book does end on a cliffhanger and will probably leave you with as many questions as it did me. Below may contain some minor spoilers, so keep that in mind if you want to keep reading my review. Pandora's first 2 decades of her life are full of torture, hatred, and confinement in a cellar. That is until her father finds her and brings her into the world she was supposed to live in. Because of her upbringing she wasn't acclimated to the Demon world and the way their society works so when she is offered the chance to go to a Demon Reform Accademy, she accepts it to learn the ways of society and how she is supposed to feed. Pandora isn't like the other common demons in this world, no. She, like her father Death, are soul-eaters. Pandora is too scared to release her powers because she doesn't want to kill anyone, so she needs to learn how to feed off of a piece of soul instead of taking the whole thing. Because of who her father is, she's classed as a Noble, and while she doesn't agree with her fellow Noble students, who look down on the "lower" class, she also is faced with 3 Demons who hate her for being a Noble. Theses a lot of back and forth tension which these 3 demons who have issues of their own. One is obsessed with her, and wants to know all of her secrets. One leaks fear all over the place, but also is scared of the "princess" -wink- -wink-. One is a complete drunk who doesn't like her just because he's got family Noble problems. Don't worry, there are 2 other demons who are just the sweetest towards her. One who will get vengeance for anything done to her, he's got Golden Retriever energy around her and touch her and die energy for anyone around her. Finally, there is one who is friends with her even when the whole school is scared of her, who brings her into his dreams and will create nightmares for those who bother her.

This was more than I expected...
Format: Kindle
So...I finished this book at nearly 2am! It was just that hard to put down. I loved that it's set in the same world as Fates Hollow but in the future. Poor Pandora has been through so much but there's light at the end of the tunnel for her. She finally meets her dad and it turns out he's amazing. In order to help her learn about demon society and how to control her magic he sends her to the Demon Reform Academy. There she meets 2 awesome demons who help her and care for her. She also sadly meets her 3 tormentors. I will say though that while they do bully Pandora they also rescue her several times and defend her. They too have traumatizing pasts and can't see the good that is in front of them. Of course demon society needs to be shaken up too since that's part of the problem. I really enjoyed this read. I teared up a few times throughout the book but I liked the characters and that ending...well it looks like 3 in denial are going to need to grovel hard.

MUST READ BOOK!!
Format: Kindle
I was in a huge reading slump, when one of my favorite authors recommended this book in her readers group (The amazing Marie Mistry 🫶) and I absolutely DEVOURED this book. Now I’m in the club crying about having to wait until December for Term 2! This book is about a girl named Pandora who has suffered a life that nobody would ever wish to have. This book is about Pandora learning how to live, learning about herself and what she really wants. She has a long journey to find out all of these things, but she took the first steps in this book and it was beautiful to read. Some of the men in this book are our dream men, Hunter and Reed 😍 and then we have the men who need some work and who we all really just want to beat up until they admit what they really feel, Skel, Bram and Dexter. But that cliffy was a killer and I absolutely cannot wait until the next book!! You have written an absolute dream of a book Lyra and I eagerly await the next installment in this series!!!

Fallen Angels, fae, vampires, oh my!
Format: Kindle
Rating: 4.5 | Spice: 2 (but a good slow-burn) • Main Characters: Huntyr and Wolf • I couldn’t wait to read this book; there was so much hype about it! And there was no doubt why. I fell in love with the characters and the plot itself. This book is mainly plot driven more than friction driven but it’s easy to follow along with. The characters are fun, easily understood. The main setting is at an academy where both the main characters are going through trials and building strength for the final test, The Transcendent. There are fantastic side characters as well. I loved the camaraderie between Huntyr and her friends. But we don’t like Lanson. 😆 We do have some plot twists that come into play throughout the book. Secrets and betrayal to be seen. I did adore Wolf and Huntyr’s relationship. It was a classic slow burn trope. They didn’t hit it off fast, but in time their feelings grew. I loved their banter, so sexy. Wolf is your next book boyfriend; Huntyr is your next vampire assassin independent bad-a*s female. Themes include loyalty, trust, self-discovery, a true slow burn romance. Side note: book ends on a angsty cliffhanger! • Emily, thank you for writing this awesome novel and I cannot wait to devour Book 2, Blood So Brutal! 😍 • Happy reading, my lovelies! xo

“My heart bows to you and you only, Huntress.”
Format: Kindle
3.5 🌟 This book popped up in my KU recommended reading suggestions and the synopsis sounded like what I was in the mood for. I'm so glad I took a chance on it. I went into this knowing absolutely nothing about it and ended up really liking it. I love when this happens. The main characters are likeable and I easily found myself rooting for them. There is a mystery element to each of their backstories that I enjoyed watching unfold and can't wait to get more of. Wolf, in particular, has me fixated. Love him. I found this to be an entertaining, addictive read with a plot that moves along at a good pace. It reads so easily I found myself very reluctant to put it down. Lots of twists and turns and the angst is there. A good set up for the next book to come, for sure. My issues with this book....the dialogue feels a bit juvenile at times and there is a repetitive over use of a particular word phrasing that I found myself giving the ole eye-roll to. There are, without a doubt, some pretty cliche moments that gave me a bit of the cringe. I think this could've certainly 100% benefited from more depth regarding the world building. Perhaps the world building was sacrificed to keep the pacing quick? Just a guess. Also, the lack of consistency of character for the FMC was really evident and so she feels quite illogical at times. Overall, this was a fun and enjoyable read that hit the spot well enough for me. That ending certainly has me impatiently pining for book 2!
