The fullest catalogue of the Russian illustrated editions covers the period from 1725 N.Oboljaninov for 1860. systematized and has described rare books and albums, the majority from which exist in 1-2 copies and are antiquarian value. In two volumes of the catalogue detailed bibliographies are collected, the name and the description of each illustration, data on their authors - artists, engravers and lithographs - for 3200 illustrated editions and 500 books with one portrait are resulted. The catalogue included the extensive nominal index, and also the index of artists, engravers and lithographs.
The book will be interesting to bibliophiles, critics and all true judges of Russian art. It is printed under the edition of 1915.
