Harvest Bariatric Shower Commode
For many patients with low levels of mobility, the use of a commode chair is necessary to maximise hygiene and minimise injury risk while showering or using the toilet. The Harvest Bariatric Shower Commode is designed for both these uses, with many adjustable features to suit the user's needs. This commode can either be positioned over a standard toilet or be used for assisted showering, providing stability and hygiene in both situations.
Adjustable and Sturdy
This commode chair is built to last, with a heavy gauge steel frame that is wide enough to accommodate and support bariatric users, while remaining narrow enough to fit through a standard door. Four substantial 125mm castors are fitted, all of which are braked to provide stable, reliable use. The chair features swing away arms, allowing for simple and efficient side transfer of patients to and from the unit.
Hygienic Design
Since this commode is made for use in sensitive situations, hygiene is a key factor. The frame, seat and arm rests are easy-wipe and stain resistant, allowing for a simple and complete cleaning after use. The seat is reversible to facilitate personal hygiene with access to both the front and back. Finally, the foot plates are designed to clip on and swing away, allowing for stability when it's needed, and full access when it's not.
