My Style Software
Add up to 16 additional sensors with the EAS universal senor input. Then setup, configure and customize those sensors through Edges My Style software package. Then Edge My Style software will recognize and Universal Sensor Input that has been connected to your CS2, CTS2 or CTS3 and allow the user to change PID name, gauge name description and units. The user can choose from a number of preconfigured sensors or enter in a custom look-up table to translate the input voltage to the measured parameter value and units,
EGT PROBE
The EGT probe is a sensor that allows users to monitor critical Exhaust Gas Temperatures to ensure added power is not creating excessive heat which, in turn can can cause engine damage. With EAS system a user can connect multiple EGT sensors to monitor temperatures in different locations and compare readings to be even more precise.
TURBO TIMER
A turbo timer is a device designed to keep an engine running for a pre-specified period of time or a until a specific temperature is reached in order to automatically execute the cool-down period required to prevent premature turbo wear and failure. This also allows the lubricating oil from the engine to circulate properly so the turbine wont burn the lubricating oil that would otherwise be trapped within the charger with the turbine rotating at a high speed.
EAS UNIVERSAL SENSOR INPUT
The EAS Universal Senor Input provides the ability to read any 0-5 volt signal and translate that signal a meaningful value for display on the Edge CS2, CTS2 or CTS3. This means you can add custom temperature, pressure, Air/fuel and even travel/position gauges to your Edge CS2, CTS2 or CTS3! Using the Edge Accessory System provides the following benefits:
Using My Style software, sensors can be easily configured and renamed.
Up to 8 Universal Sensor Input will support up to 2 sensors for the vehicle. Each Universal Sensor Input will support up to 2 sensors for a total of 16 additional sensors that can be added to your CS2, CTS or CTS3 device.
Note: Sensors from the manufactures other than Edge can also be attached to a CS2, CTS2 or CTS3 device through the EAS universal sensor input.
Eliminates the necessity of routing multiple wires to the CS2, CTS2 or CTS3 monitor.
EAS PRESSURE SENSOR
Edges EAS Pressure Sensor is a 0 - 100 PSIg 1/8 NPT sensor that plugs directly into the Universal Sensor Input system (p/n 98605). Edges Pressure Sensor comes equipped with the proper wires and connectors to plug right into the Universal Sensor Input system saving time and money on cutting, splicing, and crimping wire terminals to connect the sensor. Use Edges Pressure Sensor to monitor data such as Boost PSI, Fuel Rail Pressure, Air Bag Pressure, Lift Pump Pressure, Pre and Post Intercooler Pressure and many more.
Tolerance: +-1.5% Full Span over temperature range of -20C to 85C and +-2.4% Full Span over temperature range of -40C to 135C.
EAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR
The EAS Temperature Sensor is a 40F to 300F 1/8 NPT supplied with the connectors to plug directly into Edges Universal Senor Input System. Using Edges Temperature Sensor you can monitor Transmission Temp, Differential/Axel Oil Temp, Oil Temp, Engine Coolant Temp, Air intake temp, Pre and Post Intercooler Temp and many more. Use this in conjunction with the Universal Sensor Input and the CS2, CTS2 or CTS3 monitor to allow you to view critical temperatures with the most state-of- the- art product on the market today.

If your vehicle is not equipped with an outside temperature sensor then this is a must have! The EAS Ambient Temperature Sensor is a 40F to 230 F Waterproof 0.2 diameter sensor ready to plug into Edges Universal Sensor Input system. Now you'll never wonder what outside temperature is again.* - EAS Starter Kit Cable required ** - EAS Starter Kit Cable and EAS Universal Sensor Input required. The EAS Starter Kit Cable is required to connect a EAS system to any CS2, CTS2 or CTS3 device. Only one EAS starter kit Cable required per CS2, CTS2 or CTS3 device. The EAS Universal (5 volt) Sensor Input is also required to add any sensor. One Universal Sensor Input can connect up to 2 different sensors.

Wonderful Little Book
Format: Paperback
I actually really love this book. It's short and to the point which takes away a little bit of the theological clutter that you can find in a text book which does limit its content. However, the few points it addresses, lovingly points out incredible truth that we need to hear when helping others, and provides stories which demonstrates his point. The most important passage, in my opinion is,
"Ministry 'unbalances' truth for the sake of relevance; theology 'rebalances' truth for the sake of comprehensiveness." (pg.33)
Sometimes we want to help people with phrases like, "the lord gives and the lord takes away" or "rejoice always" which is a true fact but could be a dagger in the heart of someone who just lost a wife/husband/child and is breaking down. Either of those statements could calm someone with grief but could also cause anger and bitterness. Some truth can provide immense hope to those in need, but not all truths will help each person the same way and they might respond poorly in a situation of pain. We do a disservice when we assume that all people need the same answers in the same way.

Solid and Helpful but left me wishing for a little more

I loved the first 8 chapters - the last three fizzled out for me. It makes me wonder if even the first eight chapters could've been abridged and the whole thing reduced to a pithy booklet.
That being said, the first eight chapters contain some excellent material that I will be incorporating not only into my own life, but into my toolbox of material to use in helping others. The best material for me was in:
> Ch. 6, "What Changes You?" - He has a simple, practical grid of the basic "Five Factors of Sanctification."
- Foundationally, God changes you.
- Secondly, The Word of Truth changes you.
- Third, Wise People change you.
- Fourth, Suffering and Struggling changes you.
- Finally, You change.
"Constructive change occurs through the interplay of these five factors: God, Scripture, other People, Life Circumstances, and the Human Heart."
"Foolishness either overcomplicates or oversimplifies."
> Ch. 2, "Is there One Key to Sanctification?" This is his great critique of the idea that there's a master-key to the Christian life, some fool-proof, secret principle that changes everything for everyone. We tend to think that the thing that revolutionizes everything for me, must be "the key" for everyone. But we're too complex and the Word and life is too diverse for there to be one master key solution. "Theological fads and fashions come and go" - but part of the counsel of God was never intended to give us the benefits of "the whole counsel of God." New days come and new challenges arise, and we have to keep on pressing on. Our variety of needs and the varieties of helps necessarily defy "reductionism." There is no single key.
"Progressive sanctification is about how we live in between God's laying the cornerstone and setting the capstone."
> Ch. 3, "Truth Unbalanced and Rebalancing" - If I might reword David's principle, slightly, In ministry, we over-emphasize one aspect of truth for the sake of application. In David's words, "Ministry unbalances truth for the sake of relevance; theology rebalances truth for the sake of comprehensiveness." We can only say one thing at a time and a person, practically, can only work on one thing at a time. So we make much of a single thing, and then always try to bring it back into alignment with the whole of life and the whole counsel of God.
"You do not build a house with only one tool in your toolbox when God gives you a truckload of tools. But you use your tools one at a time, the right tool for the right job."
"In the long run, a single truth harped on will disappoint even its devotees."
> 5. "We Are Sanctified By Remembering Our Justification." Throughout the book, David Powlison has been coming back to the concrete, recent example of a sanctification key, advocated by many: Remember the past grace of justification; Repreach the gospel to yourself every day; Realize that you are accepted by God because of the merits of Christ, not your own. In this chapter he highlights that this is certainly one of the tools in our toolbox - sometimes this is the very thing we need for progress in sanctification. But it is but one part of a larger whole. A greater point to always have in mind is that God is for us: He was, is, still is, and always will be for us. Don't just look to past grace, but also to present grace and future grace, as well as many other useful motivations.
David's personal testimonies in chapters 7 and 8 are rich. He weaves in the interplay of the five agents of change. Very good.
"There is a reason that 'Don't be afraid" (in all its variants) is the most common command in all of Scripture."
There is also a beautiful section in the last chapter describing the contrast between the peace of the believer exemplified in a text like Psalm 23, and the "anti-psalm" emptiness of the unbeliever whose life ends at the end of the valley of the shadow of death.
Very good, but a bit disappointing to me. Powlison is true physician of the soul. When he speaks I want to listen.
I would recommend Kevin DeYoung's, "The Hole in Our Holiness: Filling the Gap between Gospel Passion and the Pursuit of Godliness" as an additional and very satisfying book on this subject.

God Works to Deepen Faith and Enlarge Love
Format: Paperback
What a great little book! I hope you will pick up a copy, read it, and reread it. Don't be put off by its brevity (123 pages including end notes and indices). There is depth here. Powlison rejects a "one-size-fits-all" understanding of sanctification, calling for "multiple mundane examples" of Christian growth--calling, in short, for stories of real people in real circumstances, people in and through whom God works in a great variety of ways to deepen faith (vertical transformation) and enlarge love (horizontal transformation). There are several great "take aways" in this book: seven implications of the cross of Christ, five cooperating elements of sanctification, three features of the stories people tell when they describe how God works in their lives to bring about change, and, on top of that, three great stories of growth in grace. I highly recommend David Powlison's How Does Sanctification Work? It won't take you long to read, and it will repay the time you invest with multiple dividends.
