Legends of the Deep introduces cultural legends, high fantasy, and mythologies from around the world into the Oceans ecosystem. Oceans is a journey from the known into the unknown, where you discover extraordinary traits that stretch the boundaries of biology. With Legends of the Deep, you'll encounter elements beyond the realm of science, diving into a world of myth and legend.

At the start of the game, each player is dealt four Legend cards. You'll choose one and pass the remaining cards to the player on your left, continuing the draft until everyone has four Legend cards. During your Play Cards phase, you may play one Legend card in addition to your regular card play. These Legend cards offer game-changing abilities with global effects, adding a new layer of strategy.

If you wish to replace a Legend card with a new one, simply subtract the cost of the old Legend card from the cost of the new one, paying the difference to upgrade your legendary abilities.
