The simple red heart, centered and unguarded, carries the romance of handwritten correspondence, of letters kept, reread, and never thrown away. It is nostalgic without being precious, graphic yet tender, a quiet reminder that love was once sent through the mail.

Handcrafted in our New York City studio using the traditional French art of decoupage, this bent-glass tray is made one at a time, layering vintage-inspired imagery beneath glass and firing it into permanence. The surface is luminous and tactile, with subtle variations that ensure no two pieces are exactly alike. Each tray is individually signed by Ben, a personal mark that ties it back to his singular aesthetic for the charming and the unusual.

Designed to live beautifully in the everyday, the tray is food safe, wipe clean, and finished with a felted back. It can rest flat on a tabletop, stand elegantly on a gallery easel, or hang with a plate hanger as a small, romantic work of art. A folded card explaining the time-honored decoupage process accompanies each piece.

I used these 2 nights in a row. I was hoping Oracoat found a solution to the problem people like me have with the regular Xylimelts: irritation of gums. As others have noted the “sensitive” version doesn’t melt and the goo that remains can be difficult to remove. I didn’t have too much trouble after the first night. However, the second day after use, it was so hard to get the remains out, I wound up with a very sore spot from digging it out. I will toss the rest. It’s too bad this effort fizzled. I hope Oracoat will find a solution For sensitive mouths. In the b meantime, I will use the original for a few nights and then stop before repeating. The idea behind the original product is fantastic. Unfortunately this attempt to make it usable for people with sensitive mouths hasn’t worked. Please try again.

I had used the original Xylimelts a few years back for my night time very dry mouth. They worked very well, completely dissolving overnight, but they caused sores inside my cheeks. Recently I discovered this new version which was purported to be made without the offending ingredients. They don't work quite as well, as they don't completely dissolve, but so far haven't caused any irritation. My mouth isn't completely parched as it was without any product, so it is definitely better than nothing. There is a gel-like residue in the morning that needs to be scraped off the teeth. I think Oracoat has some more R & D to do.
