Jack3d brings that high-stim punch with 405mg caffeine at max scoops

Jack3d Pre-Workout is that classic high-energy pre that puts intensity upfront. It stacks caffeine with other stims for a big nervous system boost, then adds in gym staples like creatine monohydrate, beta-alanine, and arginine alpha-ketoglutarate—all in one big prop blend. So it's more of a throwback stim-heavy pre for people who want raw energy and drive over fancy transparent labels.

Caffeine is the only thing fully listed: 135mg per scoop, hitting 405mg at three scoops max. It's a proven booster for workouts—helps with endurance, makes fatigue feel less, and amps up your drive. It blocks adenosine in your brain to cut tiredness and sharpen you up, plus it can help power and stamina. At 405mg, that's a serious dose. Studies often go by body weight, like 3-6mg per kg, so for most people, the full hit lands right where it counts.

Arginine alpha-ketoglutarate is in there for pumps through better blood flow and nitric oxide, but the dose is hidden in the blend. Pumps from arginine need a good amount to really work, so without knowing, you can't be sure how strong it is here. Same deal with creatine monohydrate—it's top-tier for strength and power bursts, but you want 3-5g a day usually. Since it's mixed in with seven other ingredients, don't count on this as your main creatine source.

USP Jack3d Pre by USP Labs contains 135mg Caffeine, a clinical dose for training performance and pump.

Key Highlights

  • 405mg caffeine at three scoops makes this a real high-stim beast. You'll feel more alert, less wiped out, and ready to grind—caffeine is backed by tons of studies for that workout boost when dosed right.
  • 135mg caffeine per scoop lets you dial in the intensity. That's key for something this strong—start low to check how it hits you before ramping up.
  • The full serving packs a 12,435mg prop blend, keeping that old-school stim feel. Good for that big impact, but yeah, you won't see exact doses for creatine, beta-alanine, AAKG, DMHA, yohimbe, or schisandra.
  • DMHA adds that mood-lifting, sharp focus vibe that stim fans love. It makes Jack3d feel way more intense than just caffeine alone.
  • Yohimbe extract, standardized for yohimbine, brings a edgy, urgent energy. Feels more thermogenic and aggressive—great for tough days or cuts.
  • Creatine monohydrate backs up the stims with real performance help. It's awesome for strength and high-intensity reps, though we don't know if it hits the usual 3-5g mark here.
  • Beta-alanine helps with endurance by buffering acid in muscles. Perfect for long sets or intervals, but hidden dose means it's support, not a sure thing at clinical levels.
  • Arginine alpha-ketoglutarate aims for that classic pump feel. It's an old favorite for blood flow and fullness, pairing the energy with some physical gym gains.

Who Is This For?

  • Seasoned high-stim fans who know their limits and want more than basic caffeine. 405mg max plus DMHA, yohimbe, and geranium make for that aggressive energy you feel right away.
  • Bodybuilders or physique guys grinding hypertrophy—needs that drive and intensity. Stims lock you in, while AAKG, creatine, and beta-alanine help with pumps and staying strong set after set.
  • Folks lifting after long days, needing a quick shift to beast mode. It delivers noticeable alertness and urgency when you're already beat.
  • Advanced lifters rotating pres, using this for heavy days. It's a high-stim pick in your lineup, not an everyday starter.
  • Guys who love old-school pres that hit hard with stims. Not pump or focus only—it's for feeling the pre work.
  • Cutters wanting appetite control and extra drive. Caffeine and yohimbe give that thermogenic edge in deficits.

How to Use

Start with one scoop in 8-12oz cold water, 20-30 minutes before lifting to test it. That window lets caffeine and stims ramp up right for your session. If it's good and you're stim-savvy, try two, then maybe three. Shake it well—dissolves better. Empty stomach hits faster and stronger; after food, it's milder. Don't mix with energy stuff or extra yohimbe unless you're tracking total stims and okay with it. Cycle high doses or save for big days to keep tolerance in check. Add separate creatine for reliable daily support. Store sealed, cool, and dry to avoid clumps.

What to Expect

First 0-10 minutes, it's settling in with that build-up vibe. 10-20 minutes, caffeine kicks: more alert, quieter mind, maybe warmth or energy from the stack. 20-40 minutes is prime time—strong drive, focus, ready to push. 40-90 minutes, it holds depending on dose and your tolerance, but it's made to last. Day 1-7, stims hit hard for intensity, maybe beta-alanine tingles if the dose is there. Weeks 2-4, any buildup from beta-alanine or creatine depends on your full intake hitting good levels. It's stim-first for now, longer perks tie into your routine.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is in Jack3d Pre-Workout?

Jack3d provides 135mg caffeine per scoop and 405mg caffeine at the full 3-scoop serving. That is firmly in high-stim territory, especially because the formula also includes DMHA and yohimbe, which make the overall experience feel stronger than caffeine alone.

Is Jack3d beginner-friendly?

No, this is best viewed as an advanced-user pre-workout. Even though you can start at 1 scoop, the formula’s identity is built around a stacked stimulant profile that includes caffeine, DMHA, and yohimbe, which is more intense than what most beginners should start with.

Why does the label use a proprietary blend?

The active formula is listed as a 12,435mg proprietary blend at the full serving, which means the exact amounts of AAKG, creatine monohydrate, beta-alanine, DMHA, geranium extract, yohimbe, and schisandra are not disclosed. The total caffeine is disclosed separately, but you cannot verify whether the other performance ingredients hit research-backed doses.

Does Jack3d contain creatine?

Yes, creatine monohydrate is included in the proprietary blend. The limitation is that the exact amount is hidden, so if you want a guaranteed 3-5g daily creatine intake for strength and saturation benefits, you should still use a separate standalone creatine monohydrate product.

Does Jack3d contain beta-alanine, and will it make me tingle?

Yes, beta-alanine is part of the proprietary blend. Some users may notice the classic tingling sensation if the actual dose in their serving is high enough, but because the amount is not disclosed, the intensity of that effect can vary and the formula should not be assumed to provide a full clinical loading dose on its own.

What does DMHA do in this formula?

DMHA is used in high-stim pre-workouts to increase perceived energy, focus, mood, and training aggression. In Jack3d, it works alongside caffeine and yohimbe to create the harder-hitting stimulant feel that defines the product.

Can I stack Jack3d with other stimulants?

That is generally not advisable. Since the full serving already delivers 405mg caffeine plus DMHA and yohimbe, adding energy drinks, fat burners, extra yohimbe, or large amounts of coffee can increase the risk of jitters, rapid heart rate, anxiety, and sleep disruption.

When should I take Jack3d before training?

Most users do best taking it 20-30 minutes pre-workout. That timing gives caffeine and the rest of the stimulant stack enough time to begin absorbing so the session starts during the rising phase of the formula’s effects.

Is Jack3d a good source of pump ingredients?

It includes arginine alpha-ketoglutarate, which is intended to support blood flow and training pumps. However, because the formula is proprietary, its pump support is harder to evaluate clinically than a fully disclosed formula with known citrulline or nitrate dosing.

Should I use the full 3-scoop serving right away?

No. Because each scoop contains 135mg caffeine and the formula includes additional stimulants, the smart approach is to start with 1 scoop, assess tolerance across multiple sessions, and only increase if you clearly handle it well.

Not a bad start

3 stars Thank you Netgalley and Briar Boleyn for the ARC! A camelot/king Arthur retelling with fae. I was hooked by the idea of this book immediately and was eager to jump into this world. • slow burn • enemies to lovers • who did this to you Morgan Pendragon watched her mother die by her father's hand when she was just eight years old, hiding under the bed. Morgan is believed to have the tainted blood of the fae in her veins and is cast aside so that her fathers illegitimate son, Arthur, can become the king. She's seen his cruel treatment of the fae firsthand, so when he sends her on a journey to find a fae weapon she seizes the opportunity to do more with her life. Along the way, she finds more than she could have imagined. I don't know a whole lot about King Arthur and Camelot but I had a lot of fun with this story! The plot has some similar tropes to popular romantasy books (From blood and ash) but there's enough originality here that it doesn't feel like I'm reading a copy. I liked how the fae were different in appearance than what is typical in most fantasy books I've read. In this book they have blue hair, violet skin and a wide range of other characteristics. I thought that the world building was easy to follow and I could easily immerse myself into this world. After reading the blurb I kept wondering when she was going to go on the journey to find Excalibur and it doesn't happen until around the 45% mark. The story is a bit slow at times but starts to pick up once they begin their journey to find Excalibur. The John Wick style Inn was a fun concept that I enjoyed reading about. There are a lot of similarities to this and FBAA and I would have liked to have it be a little more different, but I'm hoping book two will have the story turn into something of its own. Overall I enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to reading book two especially after that ending.

Fallen Angels, fae, vampires, oh my!
Format: Kindle
Rating: 4.5 | Spice: 2 (but a good slow-burn) • Main Characters: Huntyr and Wolf • I couldn’t wait to read this book; there was so much hype about it! And there was no doubt why. I fell in love with the characters and the plot itself. This book is mainly plot driven more than friction driven but it’s easy to follow along with. The characters are fun, easily understood. The main setting is at an academy where both the main characters are going through trials and building strength for the final test, The Transcendent. There are fantastic side characters as well. I loved the camaraderie between Huntyr and her friends. But we don’t like Lanson. 😆 We do have some plot twists that come into play throughout the book. Secrets and betrayal to be seen. I did adore Wolf and Huntyr’s relationship. It was a classic slow burn trope. They didn’t hit it off fast, but in time their feelings grew. I loved their banter, so sexy. Wolf is your next book boyfriend; Huntyr is your next vampire assassin independent bad-a*s female. Themes include loyalty, trust, self-discovery, a true slow burn romance. Side note: book ends on a angsty cliffhanger! • Emily, thank you for writing this awesome novel and I cannot wait to devour Book 2, Blood So Brutal! 😍 • Happy reading, my lovelies! xo

“My heart bows to you and you only, Huntress.”
Format: Kindle
3.5 🌟 This book popped up in my KU recommended reading suggestions and the synopsis sounded like what I was in the mood for. I'm so glad I took a chance on it. I went into this knowing absolutely nothing about it and ended up really liking it. I love when this happens. The main characters are likeable and I easily found myself rooting for them. There is a mystery element to each of their backstories that I enjoyed watching unfold and can't wait to get more of. Wolf, in particular, has me fixated. Love him. I found this to be an entertaining, addictive read with a plot that moves along at a good pace. It reads so easily I found myself very reluctant to put it down. Lots of twists and turns and the angst is there. A good set up for the next book to come, for sure. My issues with this book....the dialogue feels a bit juvenile at times and there is a repetitive over use of a particular word phrasing that I found myself giving the ole eye-roll to. There are, without a doubt, some pretty cliche moments that gave me a bit of the cringe. I think this could've certainly 100% benefited from more depth regarding the world building. Perhaps the world building was sacrificed to keep the pacing quick? Just a guess. Also, the lack of consistency of character for the FMC was really evident and so she feels quite illogical at times. Overall, this was a fun and enjoyable read that hit the spot well enough for me. That ending certainly has me impatiently pining for book 2!

Interesting take on the genre
Format: Kindle
True rating: 3.25 ⭐️ I enjoyed the fresh take on the genre. The best way I could describe the setting and world is an apocalyptic dystopian version of Farie where vampires, fae, and angles struggle to survive in what is left of the world. It was definitely interesting throwing the academy/hunger games aspect into this world as well. Even though I guessed the final reveal early on in the book, I kept hoping I was wrong, and it would take a surprising turn. While the "plot twists" were a bit predictable to me, I still enjoyed the ride this book took me on. Another downfall for me was the plot holes in the world building... I.E. if society has fallen and the world is in the aftermath of war, how are there trains running around the world? Just to take young adults to the trials to get into the golden city? How is the train maintained, the tracks clear, etc? However, I did enjoy the FMC & MMC and thought they were fleshed out nicely. I also enjoyed the side characters but wish some were developed more like Ashalin (sp?). I do find myself rooting for the MCs to succeed and find happiness together, which is obviously an important aspect for romantasy. Overall, was this an earth-shattering, mind-bending, terrific piece of literature? No. But was it the worst thing I've read this year? Also, no. This book has, to me, the bones of a great read & just needs a bit more to push it from an alright book to a great book. Overall ratings: Plot- 3.5⭐️ World building 3⭐️ Spice 2.5 🌶🌶 Main characters 4 ⭐️ Supporting characters 3.5⭐️

great book
Format: Kindle
I am really excited to meet the author at the book retreat this month. I really enjoyed this world that she built and most of the female main character Huntress is so awesome. She goes through a lot in this book and the ending; wow! I wouldn't have even guessed. I highly recommend everyone to read this book. I have been so lucky this year that almost all the books I have read have been, so far, 5 out 5 stars.
