About the Artist

Since 1996,  Debbie Tuch has designed and cultivated a world of jewelry  that showcases the beauty in the foods we eat. With just a lime and some glittery resin, it began and has grown throughout the years as she has glittered countless local and international finds.  Following her BFA at RISD, Debbie balanced a fine jewelry line along with Glitterlimes.  Around 2007, Glitterlimes began to be Debbie's primary focus and it has grown ever since with new fruits and candies added to her line every year.   After 16 years in California, Glitterlimes now resides in Brooklyn,  New York. Her first year in New York, Debbie designed and decorated the legendary Christmas Tree in Lincoln Square, and the second winter brought her line to Barney's for Lady Gaga's Workshop. Keep in touch to see what we do next! Some of the snacks she dries include, many citrus varieties (3-4 types of limes, lemons, oranges, blood oranges, pomellos) and other exotic fruits such as, kiwano melon, lotus root, starfruit, dragon fruit peanuts, pecans, walnuts and persimmons. Every piece is sealed with a self-made glitter resin. Debbie fully preserves the natural structure of the fruit, then adds an exciting glow to both decorate and reinforce it. While the jewels are water resistant, they are best if stored in a dry place. Due to their organic properties some fruits may darken or lighten, but will remain beautiful, shiny and glittery. Please do not ingest!

Inspiring!
Format: Kindle
Rosaria’s hospitality is a hard act to follow, but her advice and examples give the inspiration to make a difference. May people find the Lord - know Him, know Him better - while sitting at my table.

Am almost done reading
Format: Hardcover
This book came recommended by a very hospitable friend. I'm almost done reading and wanted to drop by here to leave a positive review. Lots of good useful ideas in this book and it has an engaging writing style. I think the author is specifically gifted in the area of hospitality - not everyone can live like she and her family do, but there are a lot of practical tips if you're hoping to grow in that area of your life.

Hospitality is the Most Important Thing
Format: Hardcover
The author does an excellent job making a case for how important and underrated hospitality is to a hurting world. She captures my attention instantly with her story about her neighbor Hank. She leaves me hanging through a couple of chapters before I get more details about his story. I almost put down the book permanently when she gets on her high religious horse. I suspect she and I would disagree about some of our theology. And I didn't need to be persuaded, so those chapters weren't written for me. If you skim (or skip) that beginning section, it's well worth the practical ideas for how to open up your own home and life in hospitality. A great challenge that I shall take up. May all our neighbors become friends and our friends become family.
