The Guyatone PS-011 Distortion Sustainer, produced in Japan in the early to mid-1980s as part of the famed Micro Effects Series, is a compact analog pedal known for its gritty mid-forward distortion character paired with a smooth, singing sustain circuit that gives it a unique vocal lead tone.

Condition:

 

  • This is a used unit.

  • This unit is in good condition. It shows some general wear from use and age like some small marks, nicks and imperfections. Please see all photos.

  • This unit has been thoroughly tested. We can confirm it is 100% functional. All controls work as they should.

  • This pedal can be powered off a 9V battery or a 9V negative centre power adaptor. Neither are included in this sale.

  • This sale is for the PS-011 only. Nothing else is included in this sale unless mentioned above.

It definitely wasn’t “fishy” like some reviews suggested. I also noticed some people complained about bitterness, but using water that’s too hot can ruin almost any matcha. Once I prepared it correctly, the flavor was balanced and clean. For the price, I actually think it’s a pretty solid everyday ceremonial-style matcha.
