Tube anemones make wonderful additions to the reef aquarium, this particular color morph is one of the most stunning with pink tentacles and a yellow / green centre. The amazing colors and movement of these creatures in the current make them a stunning feature.
Although tube anemones are often considered one of the more agressive anemone species I do not believe this is warranted at all, whilst they have the potenetial to eat small fish (like all anemones) they catch most of their food from the water column, this can also be substituted with something larger such as a raw shrimp. I have rarely known these to cause any problems at all in a reef aquarium; in fact, compared to other more common anemones kept in the hobby such as those from the genus Stichodactyla these cerianthids are angels. All in all a beautiful splash of color and a fairly safe invert for your display tank.
Due to variations in species your item may not be identical to that featured in the image, we do however ensure the species is correct and that the markings and colors are very similar.
Livestock is not automatically shipped, after ordering please advise us of a suitable date for delivery giving us at least 24 hours notice. Livestock can be delivered Tuesday to Friday only.
