About: "Patina" is a limited edition series of artwork created by painter Jacqueline Cross.  Her Patina collection is inspired by the imperfection, nostalgia of natural outdoor elements.  Based in Oxfordshire, Jacqueline creates work that invites viewers to find depth, character, and story through her patina collection.

"I love exploring/developing techniques that mimic natural weathering, capturing the organic evolution of metal, stone, and earth.  From verdigris greens to burnished coppers and rusted ochres.  Each piece of artwork is a modern interpretation of natural aging processes bringing history into the present through balance of texture and rich patina colours.  My art invites collectors to see elegance in erosion, and timelessness in transformation.”


Medium: Limited to an edition run of 99, each image is printed using a 12 colour giclée fine art printing process onto a luxurious 410gsm Hahnemühle Monet cotton canvas material. The printed canvas is then carefully hand stretched over a chunky 38mm deep stretcher bar frame milled from the finest quality kiln dried knotless pine sourced from sustainable European forests. It is then finished with a stylish wooden black float frame to create a special work of art.
