2018 was a bit of a transition for Norvise. As Norm stepped aside and Tim assumed the reins of the company we wanted something to celebrate the legacy that Norm had built over the past 20+ years. We also wanted something to combat the challenge of the “patina” that will eventually show up on the brass hardware of the standard Norvise.

We have replaced all the Brass hardware with high quality 303 Stainless Steel. Stainless is a great medium to work with, it is stable, machines very well and best of all will never dis-color or rust. Some people like the look of aged brass, they say it builds character into the vise. Some people like their tools to remain clean bright. If you are in the latter group. The Norvise Legacy is the vise for you.

Norvise offers four rotary fly tying jaws: Standard Inline Jaws, Large Jaws, Fine Point Jaws and the Tube Fly System

Purchase of the vise will include the standard Norvise with stainless steel hardware, the standard inline jaws, thread post, Allen wrenches and mounting hardware.
