The locking tab on an old connector can become brittle and break causing a loose connection that can cause erratic signals leading to frustrations and problems. If both the connector and wiring are damaged this is the replacement part that is needed. It includes a pair of heat shrink-insulated 22-gauge butt connector terminals to connect the leads from the new connector to the existing wires in the truck.
