Horseshoes are a universal symbol of good luck and fortune that have been popular in jewelry creation for centuries. They must always hang in a "U" shape to ensure the serendipity remains inside the curve of the shoe!

In need of some good fortune and positive energies? This lovely necklace is truly one of a kind with alternating red, white, and blue glass accents. The horseshoe pendant was originally an antique 9ct gold stick pin (circa 1880-1900) before our jeweler removed the pin stem and added a 14k gold chain.

It measures 0.4 inches tall by 0.4 inches wide and the total necklace length is 16.4 inches. The piece is in very good condition, however, there are chips to the girdle of one of the blue glass accents visible under magnification.
