Antique Owl on Lapis Conversion PendantOwls have long associations with wisdom and academic achievement. The Greek goddess of wisdom, Athene, was often depicted with an owl, as was her Roman counterpart Minerva. We created this unique pendant by taking lapis from a vintage 14k gold cufflink (circa 1960 1970) and mounting on a 9ct gold owl from a 1910s era brooch. The piece measures 0. 9 inches from the top of the bail to bottom by 0. 5 inches wide, and it is in great condition. Materials:
